you don't need to get friends and premade to play as a team, just know your role,

if four dps focus the one dps on the other team and he dies, game over for that team, since those same 4 dps can just move onto the next healer and burst faster than one can heal.

it depends on what classes the dps are though, if they have off tanking or off-healing abilities that matters, but I've lost to four dps with healers and a tank plenty of times, as I've beaten appropriate teams as full dps.

4 dps can beat 2 healers, tank, dps only if the other team is full of noobs. With equally skilled player or even slightly better skilled DPS team the DPS team will lose every time. Every time. Sure DPS can CC and focus, but now a days healers can CC the DPS just a easily and kite just as easily if not better than 3.0 giving enough time for a healer to heal to full multiple times.

So learn to tank or heal.

This "I can't rule the world as DPS" sentiment is silly.

Yes playing as a team. I've said in this thread alone "learn to focus" several times. I've healed in arenas and in reg warzones. In arenas teams are usually smarter, but not always. But especially in regs, the DPS slots are full of tards. I've ended more matches than I can count on my healer with total damage taken being under 100k. That is unacceptable. The DPS should be on me to the point where I cannot heal anyone, but myself. Stun the tank. Push the tank away from me. The times that I die on my healer are the times when the DPS won't leave me alone. That is rare. Most of the times a DPS will recognize that I'm healing and come attack me then I will stun them and roll away. Then the DPS will look around and see that the Merc is closer to them so they start attacking that instead. When I heal in reg warzones I'm free casting 75% of the time.

I have more trouble in arenas. You want to know why? There are two reasons:
1. The DPS actually focus me. What a novel concept. I actually have to heal myself as well as my teammates.
2. There is no tank. Tanks are really what makes healers powerful. But even then good DPS can separate the tank from the healer and burn it down fast.

So, I will say again. Learn to focus.

I piss and moan about premades on my team.

Most often they have zero notion of objectives and almost all of them regurgitate the same "regs dont matter LOLOLOL" rhetoric.

It's not the one or two people from the same guild.

It's the 5 and 6 players from the same guild. None of them guard (even though it would be smart for of them to guard as they can communicate faster than we can), they all rush the offnode.. and half the time they quit in unison, leaving a massive neverending backfill that results in a loss anyway.

Yes, I complain about premades because more often than not they are terrible numberchasing scrubs.

I feel bad for my opponents when they have a premade.

Leaving matches is the best way a pug player can say "**** you" to both premades and the metric in BW headquarter (Where they very likely have data on how premades affect match outcomes and participation)
and how this is different with a 8/8 solo queuers? because the 4 bads you might get can screw your match even in the last second?
