I think marauders are what a DPS should be. No spec in the game should be self sufficient. DPS should require peels and offheals. What I hate so much about the 3.0 meta is that they gave several classes immunities to whatever their weak point is. Just look at Hatred, horrible PvP design, the whole spec is basically immune to any form of counter play. Yet I come here and it seems like everyone wants all classes to be like that.

Why play a pure dps class if you can do more damage and get more survivability/uptime from hybrid classes. They need to nerf hybrid classes damage or increase marauder damage.

They should start by nerfing dots and aoe damage. This damage is not intended and should not being nuking people.

nah all they need to do is give sents/maras some more uptime.. damage and survivability is fine... they just need to be able to actually hit stuff some more

Why do people constantly forget about Obfusicate? if someone is tunneling you then use that to cripple their DPS, while you burn them down with your super high DPS... It's not hard...

Every Class? Tell me which of the ranged classes loses a large chunk of their DPS when they get rooted? Oh yeah none because if you get rooted 25 meters from someone you can still use ALL your damage abilities. Which classes don't have a root immunity? The ONLY class without a root immunity is Sent/Marauders and our two root breakers are on noticeably longer CDs 45 seconds for Force Camouflage and ??? for Transcendence since we can only use it when we have 30 stacks of centering. Compare that to Egress on Force Speed which can have as low as a 15 second cool down, or maybe VG which can increase the duration to 10 seconds on a CD of 30 seconds and those provide IMMUNITY not just root breaks. So please do not say that other classes "struggle" with roots the same way Marauders/Sentinels do. The closest class to our situation is Juggs/Guardians and we all know how they are faring in PvP due to retardedly overpowered DCDs

Serious, i see some people with such a hate for sentinels/marauders........ Wath is your problem? afraid they back doing stupid damage like in smash times? wake up smash isn't anymore like before and thank god.... People forget there was quite some players who refused to play that dumb spec and they chose to play the other 2 discliplines, and no sent/marauders are not fine at all, try dps when you are constantly rooted and slow all the time..
If at least around 99% class player say isnt fine why some keep insisting is a ltp issue? so that means in general sent marauders players are bad? Some of this people should stop thinking only on theirs class and try see how the other classes are under-performing... But hey like in all mmo there will be always players who are only happy while their class is owning the others and when if someone talk in buff to compensate a bit they try everything to stop that.
Lets hope bw fix the class soon as possible....

Just buff us, the good players already left the class for the most part.

Who believes the Sent is fine may want to see his doctor. Extrem lack of realistic view .

My extremly unrealistic expectationts that will make us totally overpowered, even more than Seppuku

Sentinel:
- Guarded by the Force no longer consumes Health. Its CD has been increased too 2:30min and its duration to 6s.
- Leg Slash has been replaced by Crippling Throw(Range 15m). Crippling Throw now roots the target for 3s and applys a Trauma debuff.
- Saber Ward has its CD reduced to 2:00min
- Dual Wield Mastery has been moved from the Combat Discipline to the Baseline Class Talents.


Watchman:
- Merciless Zeal now grants you 3% of your Max HP for every critical hit of your Burn effects
- Next to its other effects Burning Sweep reduces the Force Cost for Force Sweep by 2 (or 1)

(No, it will not be overpowered given that your two big DoTs tick less often aka the healing is far more spread out. Buffing Zen (aka Groupheal) would be a problem. Due to far lower critical chance, passives got nerfed and that one fokus tree talent got removed, it wouldnt be overpowered. Add the fact the Selfheal is very unreliable not like Adrenalin Rush, Enraged Defense, the Sniper selfheal or baseline heal skills of other classes for example. If it were to strong one could easily reduce the Selfheal.)

Combat:
- Gains the Talent Jedi Pursuit. Force Leap now grants you 1,5s Immunity against Stuns, Sleeps and Knockdowneffects.
- Saberstorm critical strike bonus has been increased to 15%
(Its to give you time to use Force Stasis You know Force Stasis Gore Masterstrike or something in that direction. Adressing the little lack of Combat DPS in PvE)

Concentration:
- Concentrated Defense now also increases your DMG Reduction for 10% next to its other effects.
- Koan now gives you 6% DMG Bonus on Force Sweep and Focused Burst instead of 5%

Utilites:
- Just Pursuit has been removed.
- Defiance has been moved to the Heroic Tier.
- Force Premotion has been added to the Skillful Tier. Force Leap and Double Saber Throw now grant Force Premotion for 3s. Upon activation Force Premotion purges any movement impairing effects and grants immunity to movement impairing effects for the duration. This Effect may not occur more then once every 18s.
(It doesn´t help against stuns, its more like a "Eaten a Slow - Jump a Sorc - Profit")
- Zealous Ward has been changed, it now also adds a healing effect to Rebuke next to its other effects.

You mean that ability that has very little impact on the majority of the specs in the game? Sure its great against avoiding ravage and maul etc..., but what good is it against everything else where their main damage is tech/force? When used right its great but its an incredibly situational ability. Unless they recently changed it to work on force/tech, but to my knowledge they haven't and I haven't logged onto my marauder in awhile so *shrug*

With that said, the only thing defensively that needs to change is they need to redesign undying rage and predation needs to be a 30-45s cd instead of forcing us to use fury to use it. I imagine it would loose its raid utility if that happened, but imo I don't find that to be a big deal anymore with all the movement abilities classes have now.

Then again not that any of this matters because I despise how annihilation plays now. Carnage is still ok I guess but I'd prefer if it went back to the previous carnage with the 4s gore and 10s cd. Also, to hell with the new lame ability lol. Force scream for life!

It's not really that maras are bad, they aren't. Just everything else has better tools to deal with them, and they require babysitting.

Obfuscate is only effecive vs like, 30% of the damage in this game. Not to mention if you obfuscate me i'm going to use something to nullify your dps.

No it is not fine it is crappy at best if you want to play a sorcerer you can not die even if locked down you have ways out. We don't need more buttons just better survivability and 1 way we can survive better is to increase are damage so we kill players faster. We wont need better defence if we kill people faster. I don't need to catch up to ranged if they die faster. If my damage is higher I will not have to chase people because they will be dead. I will not have to hit them 100 times with my light sabers.
