Companions and people who support companions ruin evey sense of PVP. If there are 3 servers and RP is for role players, PVE is for companion players then PVP must be for non companion players.

There is no PVP so make one and people who love their companion should go to PVE server.

Or make new server Real PVP Server, call it Open World Server (players cannot turn on/off PVP flag which is forever ON, and cant use companions except for crew skills).

Wish I'd known that back in the Lord Calypho days
Though I really can't see them getting rid of comp's, All encounter's take them into consideration, So remove them and encounter's get a lot more difficult. Plus if you did get this change I'm guessing most people would transfer to Servers they could use their comp's and You still wouldn't see any OWPVP

It would be so great that all people who play good games would go to play PVP swtor, so no I would not be alone, as a matter of fact this game is doomed to ruin and low population until they make real PVP, fix lag and get rid of ea.

Joke on the side, if no companions on at least one server that would make swtor a true MMO experience. Star Wars is a global fix that lasts for decades it is not something that was made up few years back and will be forgotten when game stops. Also soon there will be new movie and populatiry will go to extreme level, but knowing greed of ea's ruining peoples games for 2 decades they will most likely shut down game and start new one when movie goes to cinema.

So until that happens at least make one thing right get rid of companions on PVP servers cause Yes there is no PVP and yes you cheat people, and yes this game can go on without companions on PVP servers.

Toggling off your pvp flag on a pvp server is probably a bug and not working as intended, and has nothing to do with companions.
My name is Milind. I checked it again and can confirm you there is no bug with any companion in the game.

BioWare cannot get rid of EA because EA owns BioWare.

And this game is about Story first, which Companions are a part of.
