#1 Datacrons = colossal waste of time for umpteenth alt.

#2 It has nothing to do with "having to work for it".

#3 Because most "serious" raiders get their datacrons anyway.

#3 They just hate every moment of getting those said datacrons.

#4 If BW wants people to feel negative emotions, please by all means, no legacy lvl 50 unlock. GG.

That's funny.

I checked that poll regularly, also. In fact, I have kept that poll up on my browser since it was created and I cast my vote. I check it daily, and most days multiple times a day. At NO time did I see it jump 30 or 40 votes. I was the third vote and the first no vote. After that, though, the no votes rose regularly, but not a huge jump.

It is sad to see someone be less than honest about a poll they created when the results are not what they wanted them to be.

Make them legacy based, hell, everything in this game would be better if they were legacy based, so much more incentive if newly created alts are viewed as an extension as opposed to a redo of your first character.

Whatever dude. Believe me or not, I don't care. I'm just telling you what I saw, and I saw a jump within an hour at the most.

Not like it matters, the number of votes in there are too low of a sample size to make any difference anyway. But if you want another invalid argument for your crusade against legacy datacrons, be my guest

Mischaracterization on all points. Define "serious" raider. Speak for yourself.


To the OP: I did the datacron master thing in the span of a few days, across characters on my legacy. I did so for no good reason. The stat bonuses are trivial and the puzzles were kind of fun. I enjoyed doing it for no good reason.

Mostly out of curiosity and because I'm playing a video game.

I have no doubt it was probably skewed. Like anything on the internet, you take it with a grain of salt.

To your last point. This wouldn't be an improvement to a game feature, it would be removing a game feature.

I find it amusing how childish some of you are in your replies.

I would like for you guys to do something for me.
1) Open another browser tab and go to youtube
2) search "Dear Star Trek Online, Do Better"
3) A video will pop up from the user named "The Justicar", Watch this please.

I think you will find him and his videos very appealing.
This goes double for employees.
