Quick Info:
  • New Fledgling Close-knit community.
  • www.thedragonarmy.org (Site still being modified, so images may change)
  • Have TS3 and play additional games if interested (GW2, BF4)
  • Contact Ender, Aiida, and Jae-sa for an invite ingame.
  • We are on during the afternoon hours (by 7 PM EST, sometimes sooner)

The Dragon Army is a new Republic guild with the ambition of growing in size and forming a close knit community of gamers. We want to keep things laid back and fun, and this includes the difficult Operations, Flashpoints and PvP. We will not force you to skip cutscenes, will not rage or get angry if you make a mistake, and will not enforce oppressive looting policies. We want everyone to get to know each other, which is why our goal is not to become a super-sized guild with hundreds of faceless people.

Dragon Army Community Information
Our Mission

Dragon Army is an online structured community comprised of a few clans in some games. Emphasizing the quality of individuals, we prefer members who are here for each other over those looking for convenience in a game. We value codes of honor and courtesy, and play our games for fun and the betterment of each other. Improving our ranks improves the community at large.

What We Do

Playing online games is our primary activity with each other. While most of us play games DA does not directly support, the majority of our gaming sessions concern the game(s) we play with the guild. We welcome players who have busy schedules and want to relax, as well as those who like more of a challenge (and have the time to spare to do the challenging activities.) We have a variety of options so you can get out of the community what you want.

Member Tiers

Community Member – By simply registering and introducing yourself on the forums, you will be considered a member of the community. You will be granted “Verified” status on Teamspeak, allowing you to freely move yourself into the many channels. Additionally, you will be able to join any of our game groups and wear our tags, and will be welcome to the majority of our events.

Crew Member – Members wishing to join a ranked team, static raid team, become an officer, and to more or less commit themselves a bit more to the group, will submit an application to formally join the Crew. Crew members have a 2 week activity policy and are expected to uphold all policies.

Leadership – The leadership comprises the “Tribunal,” a council designed to form and debate legislation while enacting the guild’s policies and managing the formation, leadership adjustment and disbanding of groups. They are made up of the most experienced individuals, and those we feel are “best fit” for the job (whether they’re the leader of a group, a server administrator, or something similarly beneficial to the community.)

Community Rules
1. Apply respect and maturity to yourself, each other, and those we interact with.
2. Keep cursing at a reasonable level. (Don’t make cursing a frequent thing.)
3. Do not impede on the success, progress or potential of DA or it’s members.

Dragon Army’s “Code of Honor.”
Each member, regardless of their rank, are expected to uphold a “Code of Honor” with everything they do.
  • Do as you say.
  • Be constructive.
  • Aid the friendly.
  • Protect the vulnerable. (stand up for your fellow members)
  • Don’t be a dick.

SWTOR Guild Policies

The following policies should be practiced at all times, and will be enforced.
  • Follow the global Dragon Army policies at all times.
  • Participate with the guild, rather than “use” the guild.
  • Do not roll on items you cannot use, and never roll with the intent to sell when someone in the party needs the item (more detailed loot policies found below.)
  • Try not to talk over cutscenes if they are being watched.
  • No begging.

Loot Policy

When playing in a party, the following loot policies will be in place.

“Primary” characters may Need on items they can USE, and should Greed or Pass on items they cannot use or will not use themselves (Companions rolls should be Greed.)

You may change your “Primary” whenever you like, but we will sometimes prioritize another member’s loot drops over yours if they are new, or have experienced a dry spell obtaining their loot.

Do not rush roll. Communicate what you want to do before you cast your roll, and pay attention to what the rest of your party plans to do.

We also offer groups for Guild Wars 2 (Darkhaven), and Battlefield 4. We plan on support Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Citizen. Our members enjoy playing miscellaneous titles for fun too (TF2, CSGO, Left 4 Dead, League of Legends, Smite, and we even have some console players.)
