I just got an email with a free 7 day pass to Wildstar since I had registered for beta way back when. Don't think they realize that I just wasn't into the game then and maybe they should figure out what would make the players happy that did and bought but later left.

So does this mean Wildstar won't be killing TOR as predicted? Well that is quite a shock I must say.

Hey wait, ESO didn't kill TOR as predicted either! Dear lord! What could this mean? That the people who made these predictions have no idea what they're talking about? No... surely that can't be it.

There's only a few people that can really judge how well a MMORPG is doing and that's the people in accounting. If a game is earning more than it costs to maintain and develop, it's doing okay. If it's making a lot more, then it's doing good or even great. Us knowing the number of subscribers or active players won't change that. Because while a game may not be fun when the servers are full or empty or merged or whatever, the player base's fun is not part of the equation to the ones in power, the bottom line is; it's all about the moolah. And the developers, at least in the case of TOR and Wildstar, are not the ones in power. EA/NCsoft respectively is.
What you get from a referral link: a box of junk and one single server transfer token.

What the other person gets: 500 cartel coins, 100 more each month you stay subscribed, a speeder bike and a droid vanity pet.
