Getting kinda bored, where to next?

Alts galore my friend.

So, you have completed all of the following

• Operations on nightmare mode
• got full best in slot 186 gear
• got 100 valor in PVP
• got full brutilizer best in slot gear
• maxed all of the ships in Galactic Starfighter with upgrades
• got all of the datacrons
• got all of the lore objects
• discovered all of the maps
• got all of your companions to 100% affection
• got HK & treek
• done all of the events
• won a conquest in a big guild
• done all of the PVE space missions
• reengineered 180 earpeices/implants/mods/armorings/hilts/barrels to get a schematic
• maxed out every single crew skill for master crafter title
• own all the planets armor sets
• got 100% acheivements on all planets/OPS/FPS/PVP/GSF/space/legacy

etc.......

Point is there is so much to do in this game!

Archeage is pretty amazing

I've been here since launch and will be here until the game is shut down, but I have 0 interest in doing many items on the above list. Those sort of things would burn me out so fast. I am here to enjoy a game, not grind anything. Valor 100 for example is nothing but a display of time played. Why not just say /played = 100 days or whatever the equivalent is. Basically, the above list just isn't helpful.

Secondly, you mention things like grinding out 186 and brutalizer gear. Many of us have done multiple sets of top tier gear every few months when they are updated. That seriously loses it's appeal even quicker than the rest of the list.

I'm with you there. I can't be bothered with most of those things either.
Fortunately I like making alts.

Here is the thing that drives me nuts about these posts:

IF you crush end game again and again and now find yourself bored (including HM and NiM)...
People are going to suggest the rest of the game features like GSH, alts, GSF, probe droid, datacrons, etc...

You can't complain that you don't want to do that stuff because that is the rest of the game. That is ALL of the stuff that represents the rest of what comes in the box.

If you only play MMOs for end game content and you beat ALL that content, don't complain when people recommend the rest of the game. If you don't like those thing (which is fair) take a break until BW releases new FPs and OPs. There is announcement for 3.0 coming soon.

I think you need to go educate yourself on what trolling actually is and means. Cause if you really think this is a troll thread...you obviously have no clue.

Geezus man, that had to have taken like 3 weeks huh? You might need a break from gaming for a few days to recoup after all that effort you put into it.

[*]got full best in slot 186 gear = replaying content over and over
[*]got 100 valor in PVP = replaying content over and over
[*]got full brutilizer best in slot gear = replaying content over and over
[*]maxed all of the ships in Galactic Starfighter with upgrades = replaying content over and over
[*]got all of the datacrons = a few hours of platforming
[*]got all of the lore objects = .....
[*]discovered all of the maps = .....
[*]got all of your companions to 100% affection = you don't do anything for this......you run the crafting missions and hand out the gifts, or just make sure you have a companion out during convos.
[*]got HK & treek = grinding 1-mil credits for treek
[*]done all of the events = without a schedule, who knows when we'll even see them, and each event revolves around replaying the same 5 quests over and over
[*]won a conquest in a big guild = replaying the same content over and over and over AND over, that you've already played to death the last 3-years, to the point you never want to see it again (I'm in a guild that's placed in the top 3 each week, don't even try to argue this one).
[*]done all of the PVE space missions = after grinding 2-mil credits to buy the ship parts.
[*]reengineered 180 earpeices/implants/mods/armorings/hilts/barrels to get a schematic = replaying content over and over to get the piece to RE successfully
[*]maxed out every single crew skill for master crafter title = you don't do anything for this one either.....just send out the companions when the timer reaches 0.
[*]own all the planets armor sets = replaying content over and over
[*]got 100% acheivements on all planets/OPS/FPS/PVP/GSF/space/legacy = replaying content over and over


I think everyone's problem is that any list of "lots of things to do in this game" revolves around replaying the same old content; but not just replaying it: you have to grind it again and again and again.

I'm not saying playing it once is enough, but it would be nice if they tried to get more people to play by making a FUN game, instead of making a game that forces you to grind things for days/weeks, giving you a recolor as a reward, and calling it "progression".

Yes, and most of that is busy work... Very, very few people will ever do half of it...
