I take the "kill it with fire approach" there are some things where it is best not to take any chances. zombies..plagues...stupidity.

What would be the purpose? You still have to buy CCs with your credit card (or from retail), so why not just pay for the sub directly? The only other option I see is to save your CCs from sub for a few months and then get a "free" month. But, then you'd just have to go back to using your card after that month.

Or maybe you're thinking that you could then sell it on the GTN. BW would not allow someone to get a sub without spending the real money on it, so that idea's out.

Sorry, but I just don't see the point.
You like free stuff, right? Click on this referral link to get yours. I'll get a little something, too. Welcome home. #freethelekku

There is no point, aside the link in his signature that is.

Even so, I think he tried too hard, when a reprise of this one would be equally effective.

It'll never happen. But it's nice to think about.
450 CCs = 4€/$4

So, you are asking them to give it to you for less than 1/2 of current price?

With the current setup of 500 complimentary coins per month it still comes out to buy one get one free.

I have zero expectation of this ever happening. OP was asking what we'd think it should be, I just responded.

No. CC's are like gift cards - people forget to use them. I'm certain Bioware counts on that.
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

I sure as hell don't. Why should anyone else?

Besides, this is all related to a GAME.

If you are taking it seriously, you're doing it wrong...

If eaware want to increase the sale of cartel coins by ten fold they would do it. Sorry to sound like a broken record but look at Trion's Rift, their game is entirely free and even though they have subscription option they are making most of their money from selling REX which when consumes give cash shop currency which then can be used to buy subscription or other conveniences. If swtor goes that way from here their revenue will only increase that can i say with confidence, swtor has bigger player base than Rift and the demand of CM items are much more higher, add a subscription item in CM and purchase of CC will go even higher.

No way, want to see why, go play EVE Online.

The problem with these is when they hit GTN you create a situation where people farm gold to pay for their sub, that changes the whole game dynamic.
