[IMPORTANT] Character Loading Issues

Logged in this afternoon, patch 2.9.c downloaded and installed. Now I get to the server select screen, but no servers are listed. Had no issues with logging in at all prior to this "patch"

I have the same problem as Rasheke. I visited the guild flagship, got disconnected there when the servers went down for patch 2.9c and now I cannot login back on that character. However I can login on other characters. My server is Tomb of Freedon Nadd and the character name is "Tusken-Raider". The loading screen just stays at 20% and never fully loads.

1. I have characters on Begeren Colony and Red Eclipse, but the thing is...

2. ...I can't log in at all! I start the game, all updates apply successfully, then I press "Play" button, wait for 1 min and see completely empty server list and the request to select a server. Then I wait for 2 min and then I see this:

"Unable to retrieve server list. Please follow the Help Center link for more information. If the problem persists, the game client will be closed. Error Code 4001".

When I click on More info link, the Help Center article updates for about 2 min and then again:

"Unable to retrieve server list. Please follow the Help Center link for more information. If the problem persists, the game client will be closed. Error Code 4001".

3. If I click on "Ok", first error message disappears and I see empty server list for 2 or 3 min more. Then I see the second error message - same content as first. If I click on "Ok", this time game client closes.

4. This is the first time in half a year I can't access the game. Before everything was fine. Yes, something happened during the last patch - before it I played without any problems.

5. Please, help me to play my favourite game. I'm a subscriber... and I do want to play. ;(

UPD. I managed to log in from laptop, though at main computer even after system update all the same.

My char talios on the ebon hawk still can't log on its been three days now and no help at all, have ticket in and no response to it I now there is a lot of problems with this game but I am ready just to cut my loses with this game.

Once again I was in my kass city strong hold went to elevator to go to fleet and the load screen just stop loading. now when I load game with that char it goes to about 5th of load bar and stops. I have waited half a hour once for it to load. I can load and play all my other characters. Have done all the problem solving I could fine. Just frustrating.

It has finally let me log in.... not sure what changed but this is after several dozen restarts of all equipment. dunno if this will help anyone else.

The problem has not been fixed as long as i still cannot log into my main character.

The server: The Red Eclipse.
Just one character affected, the one i left in my nar shadaa stronghold: a 55 Jedi Sentinel called Yosi-wan.
I've been waiting for, at least, 30 minutes on the chapter recap load screen...but nothing.

On the chapter recap load screen the load bar grows to ,more or less, 20%. Then changed to Nar Shadaa load screen and the load bar goes to 40-50%, at this point, the screen seems to reset as it turns in black. Then the Nar Shadaa load screen appears again and the load bar is, again, at 20%. And this is what happen one time and again, and again, and again during the 30 minutes i ve been waiting to get into the game.

Today is the 8th day i cannot play with my main character and i am really angry.

Bioware, i hope you are able to fix the problem as soon as possible. I've been playing and paying, at least, for 2 years, and i think that this situation it's starting to be unbearable.

I hope you are smart enough to realize that you should compensate us with a free subscription day for each day we cannot play in a satisfactory way.

I have 1 character from 19 that I am unable to load since Patch 2.9c
I have attempted to load the toon several times up to period of over 1 hour on the loading screen
It only affects 1 character who I beleive is on my Nar Shadaa sky palace on the Red Eclipse server
Please can this be rectified as soon as possible

precisely the same issue I'm having on Harbinger, tho it's only been 2 days for me.

I used the stronghold UI (clicked 'travel' to Nar Shaddaa) to exit the new Mannan FP after getting the final loot.
then the failed spawn into the NS stronghold happened and the same loop from load screen to strange UI with black screen behind ability bars and back again.
I let the failed spawn loop run for 10 minutes last night just to see if it would clear up but no luck.

what's strange is I did the same QT method with my Gunslinger last night from Kuat FP to Nar and the failed spawn into the housing happened with a 2nd char.
I closed down the game, logged into the gunslinger this morning and everything is fine with this 2nd char.
however, the main is still corrupted.

have moved all other alts to fleet or ships till they get a chance to sort this out.

called CS and they are aware of the problem. btw, both CS reps were very nice and helpful. did as much as they could.

Edit - I tried my main again just to see and CS had moved my char to the fleet. everything seems fine tho will stay away from my housing at least for now.

Having an issue myself with my character, Rhint, of The Ebon Hawk. I can, however, tell you precisely what happened better than most.

On Thursday, I was invited to a friend's Stronghold on Tatooine. I did not have a key, and, in fact, another person (not the owner, but a good friend of mine) invited me in. We three were flying Starfighter matches in a Group and having a blast, when I noticed around 6:30 MST that I was going to be late to an appointment. In a rush after a particularly grisly GSF match, I shot two quick farewells into a channel, didn't bother to drop group or leave the stronghold, and logged out.

Since this time, I have attempted to log in on Rhint, patiently letting the game work through a general loading screen, then a Tatooine specific loading screen, only to be stuck with a total black screen with a visible mouse cursor. This cursor flickers occasionally between a game cursor, and a Windows loading/working cursor. I admit, I haven't been paying attention to the time, but I think it's been something like twenty minutes to a half an hour.

Other characters will log in just fine.

EDIT: One call to Customer Service got the problem handled. My representative was very helpful (despite my babbling!) and input the command to have Rhint transferred to the Fleet without any trouble. Thanks again, Michael!

Having the precise same problem on The Progenitor, down to every detail including circumstances of last log-out of the character on Friday before being rendered completely unable to get past ~20% loading screen since. All other characters/servers work normally.

GJ breaking our characters BioWare, worst issue I've had in 2+ years of subscribing. Is starting to make me reconsider doing so.
