Market Prices Plumet!

At 10 mil, a +Crit crystal is way overpriced. At 750k, it's probably mistakenly priced. Congrats to you.

The market is crashing as people try to gather money at the 11th hour for 2.9. Prices will go back up at least until 3.0 is under 60 days away. It's a good time to buy.

Anyone who thinks that any level of crystal beyond +41 will ever happen has simply not been paying attention.

Sadly, you are correct. I wish they'd increase these along with the Matrix Cubes we get. But both are wishful thinking.

not necessarily, its the same level of crystal as we had at lvl 50, no one thing is absolutely certain to change even with 3.0

You're right, I'm pretty sure I recall BioWare saying that they have no intention of increasing the stats on crystals beyond where they are. Can't be bothered to look for the link though.

I guess that someone got lucky grabbing a white crystal at that price. I'm personally watching the Rancor prices nose dive It's a buyers market

I noticed this too. Luckily I've got my housing funds squirreled away already, but it would be so easy to blow all my credits on the GTN now. Cheap stuff abounds! Picked up that Morlinger mount I've been eyeing, and a couple of cheap droid pets for my strongholds. And the armor prices are so low.

The fact that Bioware has put a load of packs/crates on discount lately probably contributes to this too. I know they probably "needed" something to boost CM sales in lieu of adding a new pack (we skipped a month), but I was surprised by how many were discounted.

It might just be that people are finally realising that they'll never sell that +41 crit crystal for 10 million no matter how long they list it.
And since the strongholds are coming out, they are dumping thier prices to get money.

This is a good thing.

I can't believe how greedy some people are. I see the same overpriced items on the GTN all the time from the same sellers.
A +41 crystal isn't actually WORTH 10 million. It's not SELLING for 10 million. It's just that the person who owns it thinks he can demand 10 million for it because it's rare.
And that's moronic.

It seems each person who posted one for sale dropped the price millions in an effort to sell fast.
That's because the idiot who posted it for 10 million realised he's never gonna sell a crit crystal for that price.

If it was a hawkeye crystal then you would have a point. This is just some idiot who horribly overpriced that item.

A million is about the highest I'll go, and thats for a hawkeye, not for a crit crystal, which are a less worthwhile stat.

Bioware should just remove the crystal stats and just make them purely cosmetic.

Well I guess you won't have one then unless you already happen to have it. I am pretty sure plenty of people would spend more so it will sell before it goes down to 1 million.
