[IMPORTANT] Character Loading Issues

I cannot log into any of my 4 characters on Jedi Covenant Server. I cannot get past the character selection screen, click play and it does nothing no matter how long I wait. I can select each character and it brings them up right away but it will not let me play.

I created a new character on Jedi Covenant and played the first couple of missions for good measure then was able to log in to all my characters just by logging out, not completely closing. Switched to Harbinger where I have several characters and could still log in there as well.

i am having the exact same issue - after logging out for inactivity to the server select screen I cannot select any of my JC characters.

Ditto, and it's across servers; I had this happen twice today on different servers.
It seems to be an issue related to UI, because the second time it happened, I restarted SWTOR completely and played a few of my toons normally, then moved a toon from fleet to Tython and after Tython's loadscreen my UI was gone except for the minimap.
No chat pane, no health/xp bars, no ability bars, only the minimap remained; could interact normally with a lore object so I thought maybe the UI just hadn't properly loaded, hitting CTRL+U twice should normally reload the UI but this time it only reloaded the broken UI; I hit ESC and selected the UI editor, which brought up.... nada, squat, niente, nothing.
I then alt-tabbed to load this forum, navigated to this thread, typed up part of the symptoms described above, alt-tabbed back into the game to remind myself of one symptom that I had forgotten, wanted to alt-tab back to finish my forum post, and.... it wouldn't alt-tab back anymore, the game had frozen up and taken my PC hostage.
Had to do a hard reset (as in, reboot PC) and navigate back here to write this.
I already started up SWTOR again and logged in to the same toon, and currently the UI is back again, but I'll keep playing to see if it happens again after another load screen or anything else maybe messes up.

Maybe worth noting, in case it makes any difference, I'm on the non-streaming launcher version.

I am having log-in issues with one character on Shadowlands server. I didn't wait very long because I got impatient and clicked another character to see if the problem persisted. So far, having done this several times, only that one character is affected.

Every single one of my characters over level 5 is affected.

Most of my Characters on Jedi Covenent and created a new character on a new server, as a friend fo mine running Linux finally got in and was able to play mostly. so made a new Bounty hunter to match hers, and well, we played for a long while, on the server she was on. From lvl 0 to level 10 and she was 4 and 11 when we were done. Well from the server she was on, I logged out, then changed back to the Jedi Covenent Server and when I hit the play button, I hear the sounds of the character loading but it does nothing, and the only way I have found to fix this is to close the game and reboot my system. I can't remember the server she was on as I have only played on the Covenent one since starting. This is a very strange issue, changing from one sever to another but unable to play any of the characters, I have on Covenent. Funny I was able to change over to the new one, make the new character play and have a lot of fun with my friend. She had a lot of fun after I explained how to use the skills and what to do to interact with quests, and other things. We had a great time but well.... hope someone can help.

I cannot load any of my characters on the Ebon Hawk server. If loads, screen freezes.

i cant log into Jung Ma server for 2 hours now. i keep getting error code 4 which says that the server is down for maintenance but the server status doesn't say anything.

Not allow to log in.
No server selection and not allow to contact customer service.

How long did it take? 6+ Hours

Where were you when you logged in? (Planet/Area) Hutta with a Low Lvl Bounty Hunter.
most of my lvl 55's are on Fleet or in their Ships.
been playing a Low Lvl toon since that is what i was pretty much stuck to be doing for those hours, second i have done pretty much from Restarting the computer, cleaning the disc to resetting my connection, to see if it would Move from the 99.96% on the Game Downloading. Also did the Patch at 9am CST then deleted the Bitraider folder from my swtor folder redid the patch at 10pm CST its not 3:35am CST and still having the same 99.96% wait on final download so i can play on my 55's. Must say never had this much of a issue with other patches.
