Man, its too funny how people take what I said, and then reinterpret it to mean I am saying people should be cool with bad pugs.

My point here is you look at people and how they react, and they leave no room for a middle ground.

Feeds intoy point that some people need to lighten up.

Well, given how the prison rooms are laid out and AI pathing, forcing large groups of enemies within a small confined area (narrow catwalk) could very well be considered as a tactical move. Possibly even more tactical than hunting them one group at a time through various levels but that's just my opinion. It just all depends on the group composition and capability.

With that said, If I was in a GF group of 4 with minimal healing abilities (sniper, jugg, marauder, sin, etc), I would be hesistant to go with the "round them up" approach in that room.

4 DPS, no heals in my case. But 2 smugglers and a commando, so we did have decent enough aoe to get it done and not worry about dying.

I love people who think it is so important to kill every single group of trash during double xp. If you are leveling you should always have rest xp saved, and since rest and double don't stack you are not getting any extra xp for killing things.

The nice thing about double compared to rest of course is the double quest turn in xp, which is a giant boost. I can't count the amount of times some noob ran off to get themselves killed trying to solo a group of three trash and a strong after the scenario was already done and everyone was waiting at the elevator.

Had to kick a few people over the course of the last double xp for crying about some kills they had to run off to get.

"Had to kick people" for killing trash?

Wow. You must be a joy to group with.

And those are the people who make the game suck sometimes. Oh well, ignore lists can be pretty long.

No, my group tends to kick people who refuse to continue and want to search out every nook for more trash. Reading is hard I guess.

Just like when someone gets kicked for completing the scenario without killing the bonus defender, people who just refuse to move on when everything is done and whine in chat get kicked. If you find yourself being removed from content all the time, perhaps it is you who isn't a joy to group with.

Funny thing is, I've never been kicked once. And I've probably pugged upwards of 1000 flashpoints and operations over the past 3 years.

And I'd never kick someone because they wanted to "search out every nook for more trash".

But look on the bright side, people like you make the rest of us look nicer by comparison.

If you manage to get a group to do a fp in a 'fun' way, good for you.

I just leveled a merc to 50 and leveling my sorc to 55 and all the fps I do are painful to go through day by day, if its not for the daily comms I won't be bothered to play fp at all.

When I tank I lead the group nice and quick, sometimes there's bad dps/heal and I wouldn't care too much because I'm well geared and can take things as challenges.
When I queue as heal most of the time (like 70+%, 100% for the last 2 weeks) the tank is incompetent, and I end up tanking all the trash, usually people are slow and drags on this heal + tank experience for an hour, that wasn't fun at all.
for the last 3 days I had
a jugg who use saber strike throughout the fp, nothing else
a PT who think its fun to climb on random things for a min before each trash pull then use the dash skill and type in chat 'muh skillz', sometimes climbing too high and lost half his life on that
another jugg who didn't AOE at all, and use his comp as dps(not geared) instead of getting a replacement.
When I queue as dps I get incompetent tank/heal, or if I'm unlucky, both, to the point I can't be bothered to level dps classes

I generally don't mind people being bad, and I'm happy as long as the group can finish a fp without wiping. But considering how easy fps are, I am getting very frustrated with people who are simply clueless about doing group contents. If you want to do things in a different way for fun while being actually useful, then yeah thats cool, ,but there are too many baddies out there that make me sad .

It doesn't matter what you say, I will add you to ignore list of my tanks if you pull before me.
I will also ignore your characters on my AoE spec characters if you knock enemies out of my AoEs.
