I hate to sound like a broken record, but the only reason a player finds it hard to make credits is because they choose not to do anything to make credits.

If all you want to do is "fun stuff", then you can make credits by sending companions out on gathering missions while doing the "fun stuff" and selling those mats on the GTN.

As has been said before it IS incredibly easy for anyone to make credits in this game.

The people who cannot be arsed earning any credits really need to wind their necks in now.

How many threads do these people need to whine about life being so unfair that other people play the game more efficiently?

I am sick to the back teeth of explaining to them how to do it, here and in game, if they are so stupid, and cannot grasp some simple basics, then they deserve to be poor.

I work full time 45+ hrs a week, and have grandkids older than most of these whiners, I do not find it hard to make money in this game, in fact, it is not only the easiest game to level in, it is the easiest game to make credits in.

Bottom line however, these people cannot be billionaires over night, it either takes time, using tried and trusted methods, or they put their hands in their pockets now and bankroll the CM and sell their wares accordingly.

A refusal to do either and well, you are just a whining arse.

Looking at your signature, I can't help but assume you're not exactly a "casual" player.

Why, because I played since beta and usually play about 2 hours per night? I rarely log at weekends if not working, I cannot abide the weekend PVP crowd. Have taken a 6 month sabbatical in the middle also. The game is casual friendly and super easy, in all ways, and you should know better.

I've played since beta as well. Only 3 55's for me. Playing 2 hours a day daily, isn't "casual" imo.

Non-casuals do not actually understand casuals. They *think* they do. I saw a comment in another thread stating something like 2-3 hours/day was "casual." Um, no.

Casuals like doing "fun" content, yes. But we also enjoy leveling alts. Many of us have several alts, but only one or two characters at 55. Not so easy to make those credits with characters in the 20s, 30s, or 40s.

So it's easy for a non-casual to make a ton of credits running dailies with their six 55s. I certainly hope that IS easy! Just most of the players of this game are not at that point.

Then we will have to agree to disagree.

In my view around 10-15 hours per week is casual, which is pretty much what I play, though less currently, too nice in the garden sat reading this crap on the laptop.

What is "casual" in your mind? You keep using that word, so I'm curious as to what you think the definition is.

I play 3-4 nights a week, 1-2 hours actively per night. Some nights I run one set of dailies, or do a single op, or possibly a couple of flashpoints. Occasionally, while doing other things, I also log into my crafters and/or GTN toon and send comps on missions.

Am I casual?

Stop with this "us" vs "them" crap... it's getting old and based on your assumptions not statistics.
