Is there any server that is stable?

I never crash except when I play on test. I'm sure I could arrange for a server to crash but that takes a lot of people and a lot of work and could involve lawyers...

How hot does your cpu get while playing?

I play LOTRO, GW2, WildStar and have no problems at all.
Because people who understand how client and server software works think you are asking silly questions and trying to skip integral steps in troubleshooting.

If a server is having problems, every single player on that server will have the problem. When a sample of players are having problems, its most likely either in the client software, the computer running the client software, or the network connection between the client and server.

As frustrating as it is, you need to be patient and follow the troubleshooting steps completely.

Have you done a trace route report or ping to the login server?
Have you checked your local Events log for any errors that windows may have encountered while running the game client? If you find errors in the event log have you sent them to customer support for review/analysis?

Have you checked the cables in your home network for loose connections, frayed wires, or evidence of physical damage?

Have you contacted Customer Support?

Protip: People that know how to troubleshoot these problems typically are not very willing to help someone who says anything to the extent of, "it's not my computer". Its an immediate red flag that you think you know something that you obviously don't know and are not willing to listen to the people who know more than you.

When I'm trying to help someone and they become defensive, I walk away right then and there unless there is a paycheck involved.

You would want to take a closer look at you client files, video drivers, ISP, firewalls, security agents...

If it were multiple servers being unstable, it would be a more prevalent topic in the forums. Currently the biggest issue seems to be classic Jedi robes.

So yeah, we are having a little fun with you, but it will probably turn out to be something between you and the server or your client files.
I've been ionized, but I'm okay now

"How hot does your cpu get while playing?"

Not hot at all. Nor should yours. It isn't a CPU intensive game, especially with an i7.

Every once in a while you come across some words that are worthy to live by.

This would be one of those times.

You should be going to support on the forum. There are steps you can do to see if it is on your end. That is your best bet.

Uninstall the game client. Remove all residual files and registry entries. And then reinstall the game client clean. That would be the first thing I would try.

This issue seems far more likely to be a game client issue than a server stability issue, considering that many people are playing on all the different servers without stability issues (game crashing). And it also seems more likely to be a game client issue than a personal computer issue if you have no problems playing other games. Although, it could still be possible that you have a setup that is causing issues that the game client is not able to handle correctly. Try updating a driver one at a time and testing after each update, if the game client is still crashing after doing a clean install.

Probably the rotogyros in your BSU overheating. Slow pouring cool water over the mobo will do the trick.
