Cute or not, I'd like to welcome you to the reality of the situation. No vaccine? It isn't anyone's issue but your own. If you get "trolled" by the event, that's how it works. That's how it was designed to work. If the disease was suppose to disappear on "other" planets, they would have designed it that way.

Yea, I imagine that's what a lot of people's problems with it is. Designed for grief.

Does it work on starter planets? Would be sad for players who haven't yet seen 2k credits to get introduced to the event in that fashion.

Until you die, which for pvpers happens alot....So ya, thanks BW for as usual not having any forethought and not making the vaccine persist through death.

Good question. I don't THINK there is a game wall in place to stop it...but I could be wrong. I might find out tonight.

I thought I remember last time that people said the infection couldn't spread on starter planets.

A tip for those who want really nothing to do with the event. Get newcomer status with THORN, grab a 5k relic and never pay for another vaccine on that character and completely ignore the event if you want after (I can't really imagine why with all the cool rewards it gives but whatever). Hell, you could actually return the relic if you want to get your 5k back after you use the vaccine function, assuming you sell it before the timer runs out.

On top that, you also got a Bound on legacy relic that is superbly useful for leveling through 25, 35, and 45 levels (assuming you pay 5k, 10k, and 20k respectively.)

Ya sure, because I love swapping my relics in and out all the time. Also, that requires people to actually do the event.....thus the entire thing is forced. All they have to do is make the vaccine persist through death and all issues are solved. You can continue with your idiotic event and I can keep playing it without having deal with it.

Yes because if you don't enjoy it, everyone else is idiotic for enjoying it. ok.

Setting aside just how significant a problem the "forced" participation really is overall (and setting aside how unlikely you are to get people to support your position by throwing around blanket insults), I do think they should make the Vaccine persist through PVP deaths.

There are obviously already separate triggers in place for PVP death (no durability loss, increased stealth time in the open world, etc.), I think it would just be better if they made it so that the Vaccine also persisted in that circumstance.

I am not saying the current system is broken, or terrible or anything (this is actually my favorite event by far), I'm just saying I think that change would make it better,

I'm not really disagreeing that they should make the vaccine endure on death for the sake making it less of a hassle, but its not like its not easy enough to avoid it entirely if you want. Standing next to alot of people, is for example, a bad idea because the plague carriers want to be next to large bodies of people so they can get the daily or achievement done.
