Again, then what is the point of having the night, if it actually does not affect anything? The atmosphere of each planet was designed with specific feel in mind, and part of that feeling is lighting conditions.
Also, a funny note, I cleared a planet as a part of my smuggler story videos, and even with doing all quests, I spent maybe 3 hours total there (I was grossly overleveled and overequiped), which is not that great amount of time that makes it inconceivable that the event take place within short amount of time.

It is not about storytelling. It is about MMO world, but ok, i will stop arguing.

How is it not about storytelling, when that is the reason we were given?
I'll tell you what, then. Why don't you call me some time when you have no class?

Ok, let's stop this discussion. I shared my thoughts - you did the same. Maybe someday BioWare will change their mind, maybe not.

The only thing you can expect them to do is what they did with Imperial Taris, Section X or the Stronghold on Tatooine: Have a different day time on a certain area, which is located in a place you've been before but it doesn't share the same space or maps.

On the contrary, I have read your posts in this thread. But that one sentence really did bring out your character.

We are glad you have realized this game was never intended to be a living world kind of game and will seek your outlet for that desire elsewhere. This realization will save you a good deal of grief and save us much time explaining why it's totally impractical and counterproductive to change this game into a living world. We hope that you continue to appreciate the vision of the BW devs and value the positives that come with their decision as you seek elsewhere for the positives of the alternative model.

Then like it for what it is not what you would wish it to be. Why is this concept so hard for people to grasp?

I play this game since beta, so believe me, I can see the positives.
