It's just my opinion, but I see the trend in SWTOR switching to "fluff" and "social content" because it's (probably in most cases) easier and less costly to produce than designing for example, more raid content that will see less use and therefore may not meet whatever their ROI expectations might be. I'd just assume that if they're not talking about it, it's not on their docket.

And people always have the ability to go (ie play) elsewhere. Seriously. I never understood complaining about a MMORPG when there are (literally) HUNDREDS of options.

But before you take my words to heart, I have one final question:

I never will understand why some people see criticism, comments, complaints, or questions as some indication that someone dislikes the game enough to quit.

Of course you can't have my stuff. I assure you, it's the people like you who complain about others who will quit well before I do. I enjoy this game and see the areas that will improve it's appeal to myself and others...you see only what you're given and lack the ability to see beyond it.

Pretty much, and some people in this thread are the major complainants in every thread these days. One person in particular seems to be in every thread complaining about something.

Can tell you I lurked on the forums for the end of SWG, and before. Same stuff went on there - white knight defenders running off anyone who had a legit grievance. Until the white knights were all that were left and they were finally happy, all joining in laughing and mocking those that left...

Until 3 months later when SOE announced they were shutting the game down. Funny how they all finally got hit with what we all warned would come, and how "shocked" they all acted and how bitter they got.

If BioWare doesn't right this ship, history will repeat.

Oh, and one last nugget. 3.0 isn't going to make or break SWTOR. All it will do is buy time. Because it is the last significant piece of content the old team worked on and the last part of the old torhead leaks.

What will make or break SWTOR is what comes AFTER 3.0. Because we will finally see what this team is or is not able to accomplish, and if the past is any indication, it isn't much...
