As stated a few posts back, we're in 2015 for EA now. We haven't been mentioned in awhile now on the investor calls. That's not good as you would expect an "expansion" to an MMO would be a significant event to the company but it's just not. I'm still holding out hope that 3.0 will reverse the downward trend we've been in since 1.3, but it's got to be better than Makeb to do anything of the sort.
Thinking about subbing? Use this link to help us both out http://www.swtor.com/r/3txb7F

2013 was a fairly solid year. Hell, even 2012, with all the stuff that plagued this game, wasn't exactly as bad as some people make it out to be.

In other words, saying that it has gone in a downward trend following 1.3 is ludicrous.

I took a break from the game from around January to now and when I came back it was kind of scary to see Red Eclipse so, so quiet. If the game did great last year, well thats brilliant, but im worried about this year. Maybe there is always a major lull around this time of year im a very on and off player. But trying to do group content around level 30 - 40 is impossible at the moment, which i have not had a problem with before.
Has anyone else noticed a big drop in population in the last coupe of months?

The quoted numbers for 2013 are they going by the USA fiscal year ending in September? A different reality could appear this September. I hope not though.

Im looking forward to the Strongholds anyway, I do love fluff content in MMOs it gives it character and novelty which is a huge appeal for me at least.

Which update other than 2.0 had more than a 2 week uptrend in server pops? And 2.0 was only a month or so.

Maybe 2.4 with Oricon? So at most you've got 2.0 and 2.4 that had an upward movement, but not a trend because it didn't last.

So many of us have already unsubscribed and are done waiting and waiting and waiting hoping for them to pull something out of their ***. GG TOR. May I hope you bring cross server queues and faster content. Oh, and 8s back.
If you are bored or tired of waiting, take a break and try ESO or WS. YouŽll come back to SWTOR in less than a month.

If the game was as bad as you imply following 1.3, we wouldn't even be here I reckon more than two years(!) later.

That's my point.

Prove that more than half of the people who play the game aren't happy.

I've played a lot of MMOs in my day, and they have all been dying for years and years, and huge portions of the players are unhappy, and the game is going to fail any minute now unless of course the devs do exactly and the poster making the wild claims suggest.

And not one of those games has shut down yet. So, I have a hard time believing that this game is so different, and that its whiney players are so much more prescient than the whiney players of all those other games.

those numbers are from may 2013. in the last earnings call they did not say anything about swtor or f2p system. If they were good, they'd surely mention it.

So, the absence of good news is now evidence of bad news? Seriously? That's amazing.
