When will we have any information on 3.0? Bioware and EA do realize this is it for them, right? Group ranked is dead on all servers, the PVE'rs are done waiting for new content and we haven't heard a thing about 3.0. It really is sad, this game had so much potential and they just don't care. So many of us have already unsubscribed and are done waiting and waiting and waiting hoping for them to pull something out of their ***. GG TOR. May I hope you bring cross server queues and faster content. Oh, and 8s back.

I assume you meant to say "so many of them have unsubscribed," since you're still able to post here. Unless you posted this thread then immediately unsubbed?

Personally, I'm beginning to lose my patience with impatient people. Yours is hardly the first thread to demand "news" from EA/BW. I'm happy to just wait, let them update when and how they choose to, then decide if the game in its then current form is worth my $15. If so, cool beans. If not, I'll cancel the account ... like I did just a few months after release, when the game was definitely not worth my money. As long as I'm enjoying the game, I don't care how long it takes them to roll out new content. I don't care what that new content is. I don't care if I will ever play the new content (I've never tried GSF or Warzones). But the game, in its current iteration, is fun for me. Nothing else matters to me. Well, I suppose stuff like freedom and world peace matter a little too. But, mostly, it's whether I have fun playing this game. Does SWTOR offer a better return for my discretionary spending than other recreational options?

I don't see anyone making demands. I see someone asking for information.

Well considering we are getting details on the FIRST of TWO expansions we are getting this year now (GSH) I would say... after GSH launches. Maybe teasing a bit before but I wouldn't bet on it. Especially if 3.0 is related to the storyline we got in 2.7 (which 2.9 is bringing part 2)

Not all PvE'ers are so impatient.
The ones that are having issues are those that rush like crazy and down all the bosses only days after they are released because they practiced on the PTS.

I love when people ignore everything that we have gotten since the last operation (2.4) just because it doesn't suit their taste (here is a hint, 4 major patches since then with a 5th major patch in a bit over a month)

Well, I was pretty specific that he was "demanding news," but okay ... "Asking for information" vs. "demanding news"? I'll give you that bit of hair-splitting. But I'm hardly in need of a pause. I'm the one waiting patiently for whatever the game offers. Perhaps those who can't seem to exhibit such patience ought to "take a breath."

His post hardly sounds aggressive; More like bitter. Can't say the same for yours, which falls into the earlier criteria.

Again, no one made you a Mod to decide when people should create a thread ASKING for info.

Even Reno is and I'm fairly sure most would agree he is unsuspected.

last week people were "asking" for info on 2.9 so we got some. We havn't even gotten 2.9 to DROP yet and already asking about 3.0.


screw 3.0 I want information on 3.5 and 4.0 I want to know what they will be doing not tomorrow, next month or even next year. What is their goal for LONG term, do they see it being lvl 99 and 2 dozen more planets? I must know or I will unsub is I don't get this information on the next 10 years worth of game play by tomorrow. And anything said WILL be held against you as GOSPEL written in stone etc.

Some of you are new, so I'll make this brief and to the point:

Bioware has a demonstrated history of only leaking information about their next imminent patch in the patch cycle. They do not jump ahead to patches that are further down the road. Seeing how we're at 2.8, the only information that we're going to get about future content will be the content released in 2.9 in August.

Once 2.9 is live, THEN we will start to hear details about 3.0 content, which is likely to be the level increasing expansion that'll come out around December.

Expecting them to break that pattern of information release is futile and ultimately self-frustrating. BW is learning how to manage player expectations and demands for information.
