Transferring isn't an option for me.

If I want to switch servers I have to start from Scratch.

It is actually much cheaper in this game to transfer servers. 1800CC comes out to about $15. Back in the day it used to cost $50 to transfer a toon on SWG. I don't remember how much it was in WoW, but I seem to recall is was more than $15.

For one toon, sure...but how many people play one toon? SWG limited you to 2-toons (3 if pre-NGE Jedi) per server, SWTOR is 22.

No I'm in NA. It's not an option because I don't have that kinda money to throw around for all my characters.

Strangely enough...that's exactly WHY the OP started this thread Reno. He too thinks the cost is prohibitive, I do too. I would love to see discounts for multiple toons.

Honestly its a money grab that's all. Nothing more nothing less. They charge the fee because they can and most mmo's do I use to think it my just be a lot of work on there end, but no its not I mean in Rift you can server transfer every 7 days free. Also I asked a dear friend that works for blizzard i ask him about that one time. He did not answer it he just shook his head and laughed and rub his thumb and pointer finger. That all he had to do to get his point across .

My guildies came back to the game on JC, so I have no reason to transfer anyways.

Do you really need to transfer 22 characters? If you transfer only one, you get all of your achievements, all of your legacy unlocks, and you can even take all of your gear from every one of your characters through legacy gear.

Back when they first opened transfers, I had like 8 characters on my old server. I did not have to transfer all 8, I packed everything of value from all 8 of them onto one character and then transferred the one character. And my transfer was completely free, by the way, due to cartel coins.
Unsubscribed due to no new Operations.
I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.
