I think that just earns you continued access to the full-featured game.

Besides I see no point in staying with a game if it makes me miserable for several months, do you?
Reno...come on...who the hell is saying they're "miserable"? You don't need to be "miserable" to realize this game has stagnated.

Also, we've had plenty of the 2.5+ million players that bought this game, quit and never return...believing they will this time is folly.

We're in the midst's of a content drought that began last October, for both PvE and PvP. On top of that, the only thing Bioware has told us we're getting is a housing feature...for the next THREE update cycles...taking us to October again. Housing, while kinda cool, is just a solo time killing thing, not group content that we're lacking.

The only thing you get with your money is access to the game servers and forums and 500 CC a month.

If you do anything to abuse your access to these features you may get banned from them.

I haven't played an MMO yet where this hasn't happened. There will be periods of no new content in any MMO, and each time they will bring out the doomsayers and the chicken little's who scream that the game is dying or who make useless threats with ridiculous clocks...

Considering how long the game has been out, the content cycles have been pretty robust. The "down time" between them is filled with repeatable events like the Gree and Rakghoul events but there are going to be times where it feels like "dead space". What is funny is that it only feels like dead space to certain people who then scream on the forums...meanwhile, in game, people are playing.

Think I'm wrong? Go look at the patch notes for other games and look at the time gaps between group content releases. Remember to also look at how much is released as some games like to release one FP/Heroic small group thing every few weeks instead of doing a few of them all at one time.

As opposed to your total lack of respect to them being human beings that need and deserve the time off they have earned.

No company would retain their employees if they declared that no one would receive any time off until the company was no longer "struggling". Your view is entirely out of line with reality.

TUXs, are you really that blind that I have point out the obvious people who have spent their time each month mud slinging this game yet wasting their money to be here when they could be elsewhere?

Also I don't care about those people who left, I never have once. It would be a waste of time to do so.

Yes Raiders are in a Content Drought, I'm fully aware of it and I'm symphathetic to those that are affected by it but the reality is: New content is coming, it might not be targeted towards Raiders who could use a new OP but it's still content no matter how you look at it. However if you're not happy with the game and you don't see anything that will make you happy coming anytime soon, does it make any real sense to stay until then?

So then these types of threads are expected, as is the frustration that stagnation and silence breeds...right? Since that's entirely natural and expected in every MMO you've played, why does it bother you so much?
