P2W would imply you have some sort of an advantage at what you're doing...how does a different outfit make you RP better? You could dress the part more I guess, but doesn't RP come down to player skill and imagination or is it so shallow that wardrobe is what really matters?

Yeah I agree with you on that. BW has done really well at avoiding the P2W CS temptation so far I only pray that they manage to keep resisting the urge to add in items that can be classified as P2W.

This thread blev up in a matter of seconds, Jesus.

Accusations of hypocrisy and double standards are being thrown like there was no tommorow, demands of hard evidence of game data that only Bioware and EA has access, people thinking they are righteous and just when they are not and more.

Before I'm going to go on - I will say this: Calm down. It. Is. Just. A. Game. Why are you getting so upset about rumours, hearsays and potential trolls? There is absolutely no reason for that.

Out of curiosity, how is the Cartel Market akin to P2W? Most I see in the CM is cosmetic.. or has no effect on game play/battle specifically). If by RP-wise you mean that the gear/costumes/garb ... I guess I can kinda see your point... labeling that P2W seems to be a stretch.

He's the same individual who writes "traditional" in every single post. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Well, as it just so happens I was taking my time browsing around on other websites. Apparently I was a bit late to the party.

Found it (link):

Contrary to popular belief, F2Pers are NOT the ones buying the most stuff from the CM. It was never clarified whether this means the bulk of purchases is strictly coming from subs or from a combination of subs and preferred status players. (Though this does beg the question of whether F2P is even beneficial if its still subs and sub CM purchases supporting the game.) They are tentatively (TENTATIVELY!) considering removing the limit on the amount of WZ's a F2Per can play in a given week, BUT only if they determine a way in which it doesn't negatively affect subs.
But once you buy anything you automatically become preferred... So the initial purchase from a F2P player might be considered a "F2P purchase". But anything they purchase after that will be a purchase from a preferred player.
