Man its boring to play now.

after double xp is gone. feels like grinding again. and you cant skip balmorra anymore :S

how do you feel about the downside effects after a double xp event?

Hit 55 on my Merc and Shadow, and I'm pretty well leveled on my other alts, so it's all gravy. Just get to sit back and enjoy the story once more for the most part.

Some of us actually like playing the game and not skipping through it all.

yea i do too. but after 22 toons and such i skip sometimes the bad planets. and only do the class quests.

I level mirror classes (Powertech/Vanguard) during Double XP events and level classes I've never played during my off time with normal XP boosts. This allows me to burn past content on a mirror class that I don't really care to see while also taking my time with stuff I haven't expired on a newer-to-me class.

Double XP is pretty ridiculous, I went from level 26 on Tuesday of last week to level 55 Friday morning of that same week. I played 6 hours Tuesday night, 6 hours Wednesday night, 9 hours Thursday night, and 4 hours Friday morning to reach 55. Give or take an hour or two, it took me 25 hours to do that. It was a combination of PvP weekly/daily, Flashpoint dailies, and the rest almost entirely KDY.

Not really something you want to grind for all the time, but really fun just for Double XP events.

If you want to effectively skip a planet, still do KDY and PvP even off the Double XP weekend. Out level the planet by a few levels and then go flying in there and do only the class mission.

Balmorra's horrible. Besides, I don't want to help the *Republic* to get it back from my Empire! I got my Consular to level 35, so I'll be able to skip the more annoying quests, but I'll still have to install a new prime minister and everything. Sigh. Wish I could defect and give Zenith to Imperial Intelligence.

Speaking of counselor, *** is it with pub side having big buildings with long walks that I don't seem to recall having as much on my sith side toons? Counselor makes it worse on Balmorra as they put the "safe house" like way out of the way in the first area that you have to return to a few times. Was really mad when they had me go clear to the other side of the zone to just click a box then come back while on my sith toons, on DK they connected the shuttle just so you didn't have to make an unnecessary run.

If I had levelled 22 toons I'd be bored too. And I'd be thinking "time to find a new game to play."


If you play a game into the ground you are almost certainly going to get bored eventually, however good it is. A rational response might be to find something else to do, rather than continuing with a boring activity while complaining that you are bored.

Ha, we balance each other out so perfectly - I hate Imp Balmorra! making a new consular so I could enjoy playing Zenith part of the game! Slooowly. Reloading his every cutscene.... Mmgh.

Nah, no hangover. Can't wait till next time I can load the game, don't care what XP!

Out of your 22 toons, how many are in full 180 gear? How about companions?
