Skipping Class Story, please make it an option!

Some people value their time more than others. Yes, at lvl 55 you just face roll your way over it, but doing it all still takes hours.

Since my time has value, anything in the game that I don't want to do is a chore and worth paying to avoid. If your time has no value, then grind away.

So, really, you just want a P2W system? No thanks. And BW won't be into it, either.

My time also has value, but you want the rewards without doing anything for it. That's not how things work. For me it's not a chore so don't give me that condescending crap about how you value your time. I value my time as well but I enjoy the things I do in game.

You basically need to get realistic. It's not a request that is likely to be honoured. Not enough people would want this as you do and it will take an investment on the side of BW to implement something like this. You probably assume that "lots of people" want this and that it's "easy to implement for BW". Honestly, I don't believe either to be true.

The whole point in an MMO is that things take time. I personally have a hard time imagining why you would want all those companions anyway. You don't care about the story and at endgame you only need one to do dailies with.

Seriously, your request isn't even big enough to be a niche item. Get treek and unlock her for all your toons. You can do everything then. If you want to play an MMO it takes time. That's what MMOs are about. It's not going to cater around you because you are one in a million. Do you seriously think BW will consider this?

Well there is the class unlocks in the legacy that unlock for each chapter and each companion story line, they could use the companion unlocks same way they used HK-51 for a fee... And again flag same classes chapters for a fee.. I mean sure it may seem like a money grab but if you can pay with credits from you mains daily then it is still free.. But again if you have all republic and imp classes and companions unlocked in your legacy, really you would know the class story's aren't too much of an obligation to go through with SB and dominating all the mobs and bosses because you would have about 500 presence at Lvl 1 that would turn HK or Treek into well BEAST Mode!

I wouldn't mind seeing something like the original Legacy species unlocks for classes.
Once you've completed a class story, repeating that class is made exponentially easier either by giving you the companions outright or by giving a huge boost to class mission XP.

It already is made easier because unlocking companions gives boosts. My toons now have an insane presence boost that make my companions so much more powerful.

I understand easier but come one....how easy does it have to get? People are just lazy in my view and that's ok in the world we live in I guess but some people can take just that much farther and that still amazes me.

Not looking for easier... looking for less tedious.
Does the story change when you do it 2+ times?

It wouldn't be a free pass to 55 because you'd still have to earn every bit of XP.
Just an option for alternative advancement to 55 through non-class mission methods and still get the benefit of acquiring the companions without playing through the same story you've already seen at least once if you don't want to.

Lvl up to 55 via FPs or whatever then just go and blow throw the class story skipping all the scenes. At max lvl they would be really easy and fast add in skipping all scenes that is the best you will ever get you can't have your cake and eat it to. You want to skip class story then you lose out on companions . I mean you get HK and treek outside of class story's and they will probs add more comps in the future.

With 5 toons at 55 you should have a few crew skills at max but even with 1 comp you can still get all skills to max of you divide them between 5 toons. and in order to at least get your ship you will have at least 2 comps(including ship droid) and 4 if you throw in treek and HK who are not part of the story.

So we got treek and HK. How about the devs just make 3 more Legacy companions and then this whole thing will become a moot point?

No he wasn't. The poster mention class stories hadn't been updated. How hard its that to understand.
