The story line missions are the least repetitive of all the quests while leveling and can be done at level 55 without much effort at all as you smash your way through it. Really, I'm not sure whether to call you lazy or easily bored.

I have 16 level 55s and I've done some story lines 4 times. The story line missions are the only ones I really do. In any case, I doubt BW will want to invest into this option. Don't assume it's easy for them to just give you the companions with an unlock just like that.

Doing the storyline as a 55 takes about 4 hours or so... If you can't slog through that, then companions and dailies are not important to you I guess.

Well, since this thread is talking about class stories, and the person you quoted to was, surprisingly, talking about class stories, I assumed you were too. Who knew...

Story that isn't class story ? Thanks for sharing that info. I appreciate it

Actually the person DarthTHC originally quoted was in turn referencing a statement about story in general, rather than class story.

Bioware has never stated class story was one of its main pillars, so DarthTHC's bringing up of other qualifying story to rebut the statement is perfectly valid.

If you skip something, you shouldn't get things that people who do them get. You shouldn't get a battlemaster title or pvp rewards without pvp, you shouldn't get ops titles or ops-specific gear without doing ops and you shouldn't get story titles and companions without doing the story content. In other words, why would you expect gameplay rewards without gameplay?

Personally, I enjoy replaying the stories and making different choices. I have 16 characters, but that's beside the point which is something for nothing is not how games are played. You achieve goals and are rewarded for them. No goal, no reward and that's as it should be.

Who needs more than Treek and Hk-51? And plenty of people levelled just by flashpoints and/or Warzones, you can run through the story then after the deed, is quite simple then (maybe with the annoing exception that on a few classes like Agent on Alderaan you get sent quite often from place to place and have many doublebacks in there). So yes, I rushed on a few classes also quite through the game.. the advantage is you can expirience the class story better, since you will not have much downtime to forget what you did so far.

Only if:
- it costs more than Treek
- Requires all class stories completed at least once
- You don't get any of the companions

This... I have 4 troopers, I don't need to see it all again.

Out of curiosity, and no disrespect intended, but what is the point of having more than two (one of each AC)?

Commando can be dps or heals, Vanguard can be tank or dps. Without dual spec, I'd rather have 4 toons, one of each, rather than mess around with doing it manually.

Of course, a proper dual spec system would fix this too.
