Well there's only 50 level of legacy so yeah... that'd force us indeed

And I think that 2M is the total cost for 5 bays in your cargo hold so given that would be in line with the actual storage especially when you consider that it is highly demanded.

Though I expect the unlock to be 1M.

Some rare woldboss drop maybe. So you'll never get it, because it almost never drops, and if it drops somebody else get's it.

I dont know why everyone is getting so excited about this anyway.

Do you honestly think that bioware is going to allow us to put character-bound items into the legacy storage "box"? The only stuff that we will be able to place in there is the stuff that we can already transfer freely between characters through the mail.

Which, by the way, means that the mailbox is still going to be the more efficient way of moving items/mods/stuff around as we wont have to:
Travel to stronghold -> Load stronghold -> Make our way to the box -> Deposit -> Logout -> Log Recipient Character In -> Travel to stronghold -> Load stronghold -> Make our way to the box -> Retrieve -> Make our way back to fleet

Mailing the items and changing characters to get the attachments is WAY faster.

Not when you are mailing 20 or so mods to one character :/

And during the twitch video, it looked like the access to the bank might not be a physical one (well, it'll be there too, but you don't have to go there) since there was a bank button in the strongholds interface on the UI.
That might mean you can access your legacy bank from any location.

But like I said, you don't HAVE to use cc. so what's your point again?
if I need to purchase an unlock for the new content, why bother subscribing? what value do i get for $15 a month?

The one utility I hope to get from it is to use it as the primary storage for crafting resources. Put a GTN terminal in the stronghold and my crafting characters will never have to leave it or see the garbage spewed on fleet chat. (Which I guess I could turn off anyway...)

This, and hopefully we can get a QT to Nar Shaaddaa the way we can to the Fleet. I thought I was doing the right thing tieing crew skills to the best companion to run them. But that creates the material problems, so I hoped to create bays for each of the craft supplies, so I don't have to remember who needs what shipped from whom. I manage by trying to assign a gatherer or two to each specific crafter, but I do have supply problems anyway.

And, btw, crafting your way to riches is not as easy as stated above. Supply problems, the vagaries of the markets, accessibility of schematics, fickleness of the RE, inability to cue gathering missions, and 4 min loading times.... I am telling ya, being a crafter requires Zenith stubbornness multiplied by Gault's guile, added to Tharan's gambling nature and powered by Vette's lightheartedness.

Overall though, I do not make the Legacy Storage my purchasing priority, it still goes to buying my husband an unlock to show his head slot, because if I keep staring at the awful pilot Helmets on all his toons much longer I am going break into tears and start kicking my wee little legs, seeing I spent all these credits and cc's getting the race unlocks for his account. Apparently a Chiss in a face-close helmet looks just like a PB Sith, just like a Rattataki... etc. oh, my!

See what I'm getting at?

no actually. when those came out the devs were producing content. if this release is just vanity crap we will not have seen any real content in over 6 months and evidently wont see any for 6 more. because according to you, this isnt content just stuff we must pay for to use.

edit: when we were buying those everyone was a subscriber. why bother to pay $15 a month now? not much of a reason.
