*** we have to PAY for legacy storage?!?

I think crafted legacy storage will follow a very predictable pattern we've seen many times before.
  1. In the first stage, the verify first crafters who gain the ability to make these will make a killing. The items will be way overpriced on the GTN on the order of 100 times, as noncrafters with loads of money rush to buy them. Smart crafters will sell every one they craft rather than keeping them for themselves.
  2. In the second stage, the market will begin to flood with these items, and the price will drop steadily as a result.
  3. In stage three, the price will finally stabilize just above the cost for materials, and we'll see people spamming the fleet with "will trade Legacy Storage decoration for mats. PST."

I expect stages 1 and 2 to last no more than a week, and I will be honest, I plan to craft and sell these at highly inflated prices until it's no longer worth my time. I'm still kicking myself for not taking better advantage of the addition of augments to the market. For the first few weeks, you could craft them for about 50k in mission materials and sell them for a million a pop. It was crazy. What was crazier is that I took the time to augment my own gear before selling them.

So to those worried about the price, just wait a couple weeks before buying and you'll be able to pick one up for the same price a crafter can make it.

I'm arguing with your apparent assertion in an earlier post that it would cost 600cc or less via the CC route. Would you like to reconsider that post or perhaps clarify your statement in it?
You want him to reconsider his guess at how much it will cost? He took a stab at it, so what?

Yes, I was counting the silly assumption that the thing would cost more than 600cc. And merely pointing out the silliness of making an assertion based on nothing more than a biased point of view. No one knows what it'll cost, so speculation on outrageous prices is not just silly, but unfair.

Does it make sense now? Should I elaborate some more? I have some charts over here to the side.

Nah. Experience/observation-based, reasonable assumptions don't fit the definition of bias.

Past experience of other unrelated matters is irrelevant. This is the first Housing based thing to be put on the CM and there's no basis for determining a price, fair or otherwise.

Especially considering that these items can be crafted as well.

The only problem with your example is augments could not be bought from CM. With legacy storage price ceiling will be CM price

Nope. The price floor will be the cost of mats.

Yeah there is, you're just not up to understanding what reasonable and informed thinking is.
