And you can ignore the posters who are trashing them. The vocal minority and haters are going to hate... EA has the play numbers and are the only ones that know if the feature is popular or not.
It's more like the people who enjoy the space on rails missions are the Silent Minority.

Sorry
Do you speak on behalf of the community? Where's your evidence for this? Or is that just your own speculation that it's "universally disliked"?

The fact that the space missions have only been added to once and never mentioned again speaks to their popularity.

GSF's future looks equally bleak, all plans for that have been put on hold, we many never hear much about it again.

It's funny... the rail shooter is great fun to me, and I have no desire to participate in GSF. Pretty much anything PvP is just wasted effort in my opinion... I'll never touch it.

Personally, I wouldn't waste any but the minimal effort on either one.

Looks good, but I've had my fill of paying for games that aren't finished. I have seen the results of that business model, and generally speaking I don't like it. When they're finished and it's fully featured I might give it a look, but I've been part of too many Founder's programs to be fooled again.

*shrugs* I like them. I know a fair number of others who do, too.

I doubt that we'll see [m[any updates to the original space game. I personally think it's fun, but when I play it, it's because I want a break from the "main game". I don't play it to advance my character, I play it because I feel like shooting stuff in space in a star wars setting (a vibe I don't get from GSF) and my character picks up stuff (credits, XP, comms, etc.) without me having to deal with other people. [Basically, I wouldn't log in just to play the original space game, but if I was logged in and getting bored, I'd be more likely to run some space missions instead of logging out and digging up Space Invaders.]

Unlike Warzones and GSF, it's a true standalone mini-game. Like Pazaak would be. TBH, I probably spent more time playing that than actually questing in KOTOR 1 and 2.

I wouldn't mind the rail shooter if it was a GOOD. The mini-game is barely passable and the level types get old pretty fast, it's not really worth it to play them more than once. Very little incentive to play them at all.

As for GSF, I haven't played it because I avoid all things PVP. I did try the tutorial and did not seem bad. Now let's recreate this and we might have something
It's not about the difficulty, it's about compelling gameplay!
