I leveled to 55 on my commando from 15-53 on KDY and it was a blast. I learned a lot, foremost about teamwork as you only do group content when doing KDY only. You learn boss mechanics and learn how to handle multiple mobs, as well as when you can interupt/cc. There is nothing that KDY doesn't teach you that normal leveling does.

This may be the first time since KDY was introduced that you are guaranteed to get the same rewards whether you do Imp or Pub, since IIRC the weekly bonus for Pubs was introduced before they fixed the bug where Pubs couldn't get the kill bonus for Starship Assembly.

I'm pretty sure it was unintended for low level toons to get massive amounts of xp and credits from this mission. It was obviously meant for just 55's, now it is fixed so that the 'pub toons don't get it.

There is your why.
"50 Grades of Shae", a heart-warming novel about a Mandalorian that delivers beat-downs and assigns grades to her victims.

It is a Level 55 Weekly, it was a bug and not intended for anyone to be able to pick it up and gain the rewards from it below the threshold level. It's a bit like complaining that Bioware have spent time trying to stop players using the Nefra bug where it could be two manned.

The point you seem to have missed is the weekly is end-game content. There are plenty of other ways to gain extra xp (especially if you spend the double xp week playing the game instead of "demanding" they re-introduce a bug)

Certainly, but normal leveling is hardly challenging and teaches you very little in terms of playing your class or role effectively.

On the other hand, most Story Mode flashpoints (when tackled at-level) are better than both solo-leveling and KDY at requiring some modicum of skill. One can keyboard-faceroll KDY, fail to interrupt, ignore mechanics and derp your way through anyway. If you do that on the other SM flashpoints you'll have a much harder time.

Which begs the question: Why should weeklies be exclusive to lvl 55? Why shouldn`t weeklies exist for xp for under 55?

Really? But you do, with faceroll content that has you at 4 - 5 levels or higher and not even needing interrupts (the tragedy of some consular players and a certain point in their quest to 55 is simply precious)?

So, you are better by doing story and whatever POSSIBLE other flashpoints than my powerleveled toon - using strictly KDY + Warzones, that spent one day practicing rotation on the dummy at 55 with Parsec open?

You, sir, are deluded. You see, the speed at which we level is not important. It`s only if I want to know my character better or not that`s important - and that is based on the individual.

Also, I can also argue that, for a casual player that takes 6 months to ding 55, he would have forgotten half the skills in his quickbars and their order, and I bet he / she can`t be fussed to spend 1 hour at the Fleet dummy to remember, when one hour is all he / she can dedicate during a day - so he / she will just play with whatever powerful skill he has, then wonder why people yell and kick.

Black Hole, Section X, Ilum, and Makeb are all there for XP from level 50-55. It's the slog between 40 and 47 that tends to be the biggest pain.

Well let's try to use logic. The weekly gives level 55 rewards....why would they not want lower level characters to get such rewards especially the basic comms? Any ideas from your side?

Well hang on a minute here. Warzone comms have a cap that you can easily fill before even reaching level 20. So they are no use to us for when we hit level 55. You also cannot trade them in for ranked comms before you hit level and valor 40. So there's that. On lower levels the warzone comms can be used for .....exactly pve gear (I suggest trading the wz comms in for planetary comms). I also suggest getting enough comms before level 55 to get obroan relics because they are very good in pve. So really, these comms before level 55 are very much useful for pve.

Basic comms are something that can buy you isotopes which you can make 80K+ each with. I don't think that would be a good thing for the economy if lower level characters can get into that market.

Clearly however, you don't understand how frigging easy it is to get 156 gear together by the time you are level 55. If you're interested purely in gearing up I can explain it to you but it really is so easy and with that 156 gear and a couple of obroan relics you can go straight into sm ops and start gearing up more. Honestly, if you really use basic comms to gear up your character, that's kinda sad.

Cute but nobody cares about demands.

And listen in the end the xp gain from the KDY is massive. It's rewarding enough by itself.

While you are technically correct, those were originally max level weeklies. And if you get to 50, ops are a valid choice for leveling also.

I still think we need weeklies for 15 - 54 also.

Because, who cares? It's a weekly... lowbies care more about the XP than the comms. What are they 10-15 max? A Week? Big whoop.
