[IMPORTANT] Character Loading Issues

Again?! Really?! Can't even get to the character screen on The Red Eclipse. Waiting time > 15 min. Couldn't play the game for 3 days after 2.8 and now it seems i won't be able to play today too. I'd really appreciate it if you extend my subscription, because of YOUR mistakes. I don't like paying to watch a loading screen. Thank you!

I wasn't able to log in.
I've waited more than 15 minutes.
My characters are located in the Progenitor server.
Since I can'tr even get to choose the character I play, yes, all of them are affected.
Last time I logged out I was at Dromund Kaas, near the Kaas City cantina entrance.

Is it a habit to make you suffer your players, Bioware? It's enough already.

Running luncher fix fixes the problem.....

I am usually on the Red Eclipse but tonight I cant even receive the One Time Password they send out, so cant log in at all! what the hell do I pay BW for!! this is rotten service,

2. i just logged onto my thing it loaded into the harbinger like it always does i havnt play on the character for a year or so i try to press play it says it has to download the planet i logged out on a year ago (Alderaan) that one wasonly affected my game could not even finish downloading in the background whilst i played on a new character so idk what to do ty bioware

so, i leave the game for a month, come back and now when i log in...i get the red X of death for latency. I have no trouble loading into my toons, but once i log in i have anywhere's from 30 secs to 2-3 minutes before it lags out. I know its not my connection, since i can play other MMO's just fine with no lag at all. My toons are on the Jedi Covenant server, and it happens to all of them, not matter what faction or level.

I'm going to try all the usual broken games fixes but figured i'd throw my grievance out there.

systems specs:
4.41Ghz eight core processor
16 gigs of DDR3 Ram (oldest part in my build)
ATI R9 290 (4gb Vram)
500 gb Samsung 840 EVO SSD

internet is Time Warner Cable High Speed Turbo, I am connected through wireless... and no, its not my wireless...

So come on Bioware, you want my money, work for it... fix your mistake so i can get my SW nerd on!

Cannot get into game here as well, I get a blank server screen!!!! Customer service has done nothing but feed me this or that to do, one sent me a link in an email to use which did not work.......and second guy wants me to turn off the fire wall that I have used with this game since I have had this computer that has never caused a problem.....

HEY SWTOR, GET COMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT KNOW WHAT THEIR DOING AND CAN SPEAK ENGLISH CLEARLY!!!!

I just updated to 2.8.1 and now i cant get to character selection. I login, hit play, then get the GSF wallpaper and the blue spinning cog and it doesnt move. Have been waiting for half an hour still nothing.

I have followed several user and dev troubleshoot options, nothing has worked.

The server i am on is prophecy of the five, toon Az'rahel

I can hear the sounds of 'ships' flying past which usually preceeds the character select music and screen.

I am also a subscriber and would really appreciate a fix to this ASAP

Update: did a complete reinstall, seems to b working so far for min install (starting worlds only). Full download should be done later tonight so ill let u know if it helps... i know that wont b much use to most of you since uv already done that but...

My problem is related to this.After i log into my account, i get stuck in the loadscreen ((( please note: i do NOT get to the character selection part )). So i tried this alot of times. i even left my computer on for abt 4 hours hoping it would work,sadly nothing. (( P.S all my characters are in The Ebon Hawk server ))
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to deal with this problem, thanks
