What makes you think it bothers me at all?

Actually, had you taken this view in your original post, it probably would have communicated your point better.

As opposed to painting the entire group of PvP'ers and Hardcores with the same brush.

Just something to think about.

So the problem started there, and much of that fault falls on BW to be honest. Players shouldn't simply "try" endgame PvP, no more than they should "try" HM/NM mode endgame PvE Ops when not ready. Unfortunately, while it would be impossible for a player who is not properly prepared to enter a HM/NM Ops, BW has made it possible for anyone to queue for Ranked PvP. That's poor game design and a serious problem.

It's good to see that you are running Regz though. Regz are truly the ground for beginners to acquire gear, learn their classes, and develop some chemistry with others. If someone trolls you in chat, either ignore them or report them.

Lastly, if multiple players are criticizing your gameplay, that's likely a sign that you need to improve. The best thing to do in that regard is become a student of your AC(s). Study the materials and videos available to you that can help make you a better player. The SWTOR forums and YouTube are full of materials that can educate you on how to gear properly, play your class well, and provide in-game tactics and strats to elevate your gameplay.

I wish you the best of luck. This game needs additional PvPers more than ever.
Thanks for the advice!
I run ops on my operative, and do endgame pvp.
I know how to play operative, its just that ranked on my server is really dead

If I did not know any better, this feels like PvP, and you, a camper. Have a nice day.

Actually, your opinion doesn't bother me the slightest bit.

What happens is, I get into a discussion with someone on these forums and see logical fallacies. Being one who enjoys debate, I try and show that these things are, in fact, logical fallacies. Ideally this would result in the other party either clarifying their logic, or (in super rare cases and not actually my goal) changing their viewpoint.

The funny thing is, I felt exactly the same way about your posts earlier in this thead -- that you yourself were engaging in forum PvP, despite having such a low opinion of PvPers. It was one of the things I was trying to get you to realize.

Since you are feeling harassed by me, I will leave you alone on this thread henceforth. It wasn't my intention to harass, but to debate.

You mean like that other thread where a guy blames everything on BW catering to casuals?

That OP is known for his pyrotechnic approach to thread topics.

I know the thread you're talking about.

Personally, I've had a difficult time debating with some of the super-heavy critics of this game (the ones that spent a lot of time in that particular thread). Mainly because if I make a calm, reasoned comment or question, it is usually ignored. But if I make a hostile, snarky comment, I get an instant response.

This type of behavior tells me that they're happiest when they're having a fight. Not my cup of tea.

The funny thing is, that there were a number of heavy critics of the game I got along well with, mainly because they actually liked to discuss things. Unfortunately, most of them no longer post in the forums.

That's bit hypocritical, hmm?

You're saying that he's harassing you - but you're offensive/abusive towards the PvP community (as your previous statement kind of shows) yourself.

Double standards?

I've expressed a general opinion. I've not engaged him personally.

Agreed. Superman_AZ hasn't harassed anyone in this thread.
