Ugh last Gree event happened when I was out of town for Xmas, the upcoming Gree event happens when I'm out of town for my niece's wedding. Why do the Gree hate me? *snif*

Is the gree event going to be for level 55's? if so I need to finish leveling my commando from level 52 (in all Makeb level gear) before the event comes live.

It's on Ilum, so 50 - 55.

The mobs are all level 55. Especially for champion mobs and the Ops bosses, you'll probably want to be 55 for it.

How many shards did you need last time for a Helix Lightsaber? Is one week going to be enough time to collect enough for two or get the standing to buy the Scalene armor?

18 helixs, You get 7 helixs on each character for completing the heroic each day and get additional 7 i believe for completing the SM ops for the event. Of course even more for the HM versions. There also is the one time planet mission and the one time mission for the ops.

If you have alts, you probably will have enough.

As for rep, if you are careful with your reputation trophies and have max bonus from guild, you might have enough to get friend status and get the blue or red version. Depending on how many alts, you probably will be able to get trophies to get to at least champion or legend status, just not immediately dur to weekly cap. The vendor is always there though, so the stuff will be there available to purchase.

Last time, IIRC, the Operation mobs (Xenoanalyst II) were level 50 in both SM and HM. It made tanking HM too easy, frankly - you did not have to kite adds and cut them out one at a time to kill them, and thermal analysis didn't kill a well-geared 55 tank if they did not avoid it.

I might be misremembering, but if not, hopefully BW will up Xenoanalyst to 55 this time.

If they were 50, it should have been cake for even a Pug group to do the 16 man HM and it wasn't. Everything was 55.
