I've been responding to everyone, and defending my OPINION for the most part. Some people understand others are entitled to an opinion, and they would rather discuss the topic at hand. It would seem the only interesting parts of the conversation that people pick up on are my defenses regarding my right to my opinion.

If you'd like to discuss the topic at hand, I'd be glad to do so.

Fair enough. So back to this:

Do you feel the same way about sports? (such as Boxing or Martial Arts competitions)

People who ASSUME opinion to be fact, rather than seeing opinion as opinion, are to blame for their misunderstanding. I never stated, nor even implied my opinion was fact. I also never said ALL PvPers, or MOST PvPers. Again, people reading only what they want to read.
Difference between statements of opinion and fact:
"I think all PvP players are slow" - Statement of opinion.
"All PvP players are slow" - Statement of fact.

Next time, consider your phrasing.

No. Most professional sports are there for the purpose of sport; however, I do believe a small percentage of athletes are in it for the rush of getting to hurt someone else. I find every "contact" sport has at least a small percentage of ruffians who are simply in it to hit someone, and hit them hard. While other players can go their entire career without ever getting a penalty flag, certain players almost LIVE in a penalty box. Mike Tyson, Charles Barkley, Kent Shamrock, etc. I find the correlation between PvP and sports, and the mentality of the small percentage of players in both, to be very much on par. If Mike Tyson played SWTOR, I imagine a Sith Juggernaut in PvP would be right up his alley.

I never used the word ALL. Not once. Next time, read what is actually there, not what you THINK is there, before you comment.
