Personally, I want an "appearance" tab like they developed for SWG.
Does AdeptStrain still work on this game?

Basically you could wear whatever mix-and-match clown vomit outfit with the best stats that you wanted but then equip any secondary piece of gear (with no additional stat benefit) to give the appearance of wearing that piece.

I like the way that DCUO does it even better because you can wear the appearance of any piece of gear you've ever equipped, even after discarding it.

I'd certainly be more likely to buy and wear Cartel gear if I didn't have to replace the mods every time I changed clothes.
Instead, I tend to pick a single look that I like and stick with it.

Spent 200K credits plus two MK-9 kits changing gloves on my main yesterday:
  • found an OK pair of new gloves, bought it, augmented it, and swapped the 180 mods from my old gloves, then
  • found a better looking pair, and repeated the process.

The things we do for fashion ... but I did not have a better use (in my opinion ) for the credits, which I got by selling isotopes obtained with excess Basic coms.

Fortunately, it was Legacy gear, not CM, so the first pair of now-augmented gloves can be used by an alt. That said, my main has a half-dozen augmented CM chest pieces and a few other pieces as well in her locker ...
Going Preferred January 31, 2015.

My total wealth in SWTOR is the amount of money I'd like to have in my real life as well
Not that much that I never have to worry about money ever again, but enough for me to buy whatever I want whenever I feel like it without having to wait or worry that I'll run out.

Although, I guess that If I had as much euros/dollars as I do credits, I would actually never have to worry about money again (or my children...or my grandchildren )

Out of 20 or so threads visible on page 1 or 2 of General are about clothes, the rest is diverse and covers anything from GTN woes to obscure game mechanics liveliness... there are even less in the topical fora, unless you speak of the forum that is dedicated to CM.

Not quite.
Need I remind you that Arenas were added between Hypergate's addition and Queshball's?
Oh and before you say "well, that's not really a WZ, so it doesn't count", you really should look back in those old PVP suggestion threads. You will find a LOT of those...um...well-meaning critics you speak of begging for Arenas to be implemented.

Those are called the forum drones. Sadly they're the majority on this forum now because I remember all the realistic posters who criticized SWTOR trying to help the game because they truly cared about it, but they either left in frustration or took a permanent vacation from the forums so now most of what we have is this clique of antagonists who believe this game is the MMO messiah and anyone who thinks otherwise gets flamed, baited, and ultimately belittled on and on.

My god you guys are desperate. Let me explain something to you, a game like this will NOT benefit from just critical posts all the time. That does NOT make the game better all on it's own. You need have both positive reinforcement and negative feedback. Not one or the other.

And that clique you just mentioned? Those posters were a hateful bunch that literally returned time after the time to bash the game. They did NOT offer suggestions to help it and neither are you.

Oh and have fun in WIldstar if that is where you are planning to go.

I won't be ignorant and say no PvPer wanted arenas, but to say it had massive support is illogical and just plain false.

Arenas also do not count because most of the rest of the little and dying ranked playerbase ended up leaving due to ranked 8s being canned for 4s. You missed, swing again.
Again, you can go back and look at the threads that existed back then.
"I am not an avid PVPer" is your assessment based on what? My not nagging over every little thing in PVP section?

Oh and also, when you have to be the one to call your posts "accurate", they probably aren't.

Ranked 8s were dead. That's why they were replaced with ranked 4s. I doubt many of the people who could not get a game in ranked 8s left because a game mode they were unable to play was replaced with one they were.

I actually preferred the ranked 8s to ranked 4s, though I don't know why people seem to be willing to play ranked 4s more so than 8s(could be in great part due to solo queue, could also be because it feels more balanced than Hutt Ball[alas ye poor mercs/mandos]).

this. while 4v4 was not an improvement by any means but at least it made it possible to get a que pop in ranked at all compared to before, though unless cross server was ever implemented 8v8 ranked just isn't an option
