Players should be required to prove class competency IRL

To play this class you must demonstrate Force sensitivity IRL, including the ability to levitate objects and to leap over 30 meters in a single bound from a standing start. You must also provide formal evidence, corroborated by witnesses, of your ability to construct a functioning lightsaber.

To roll this class you must provide weekly webcam footage proving beyond doubt that you wear a black hooded robe at all times while logged in to SWTOR.

Very apt suggestions, OP. But a few things in your idea were rather ambiguous.



What about telepathy? If I can verify that I'm telepathic, does that count as force sensitivity? Hell no! Telepathy is the transmission of information from one sentient being to another without any outside assistance of any kind. The Force is an esoteric energy force that is the result of physical interaction with midi-chlorians. (Because of this, it can be argued that any Force-sensitive telepaths are not TRUE telepaths, as the power derives from symbiosis with the midi-cholrians.)



Would a hoodie be acceptable? Also, does it have to be completely black, or are designs allowable? As a matter of fact, awesome designs are MANDATORY.

Why stop there?

• Players wanting to compete in PvP must wear a shock-collar (this is mandatory as to feel truly shocked when they get their behinds handed to them )
• Players wanting to participate in Flashpoints must get training at their local S.W.A.T. team
• Players wanting to participate in Operations must have a medical licence (being a Surgeon classifies you as Raidleader )

I'll try to explain without getting too long winded.

You have Enlisted and Officer.
Enlisted start at E-1 in Boot Camp (generally fresh out of HS). NCO's (Non-Commissioned Officers) are Enlisted equal to or above the rank of E-4. Sergeant is E-5. A SNCO (Staff NCO) is equal to or above E-6.
Officers start at O-1. They are the ones that went to college first and got a Bachelors in something. Lieutenant, Captain, and Major are Officer ranks (and in the correct order).
There are Officers who started out as Enlisted. Field Promotions however, I don't think occur very often anymore (if at all).

In my sector of the corporate world, enlisted are up to and including supervisors, while Officers are Managers on up to CEO.

Wow, this totally changed the Trooper story for me.

• You start as an enlisted (NCO?) at a high rank (Sergeant) so you've been in the Republic Military for some time, assumedly working your way up from fresh recruit for years before being tapped for Special Forces in Havoc Squad.
• Jorgan is bossing you around because he's CO?
• After the debacle in the volcano, Jorgan gets a field demotion to NCO as scapegoat, and your Trooper gets a field promotion from NCO to CO, which is why you leap from Sergeant → Lieutenant, and is given control of Havoc Squad?

Is this vaguely close to a correct interpretation? I'll be honest all I saw in my first playthrough was "I am a soldier → Now I am a higher-ranking soldier, why does anyone care about this? → I will go kill people".

But actually we're meant to be witnessing something exceptional and unusual due to dire and extreme circumstances?

Well, I can't jump 30 meters, can I still play my Knight if I I know what your card is?
