It appears the statistician is correct, at least in Las Vegas. According to UNLV's tally, the casinos have retained roughly 5.905 percent of all money spent on the slots in their casinos between 2000-2013. That would put the return rate at about 94.095 percent.

Not sure if it's the same elsewhere, but who the hell would wanna gamble elsewhere? Vegas, baby. -bp

Nice to see some claims backed up with actual statistics

From what I see in the video tho, it seems he is getting back around 40-50% of his tokens, but since he is just gambling on and on they run out eventually.
Did someone count the number of times he ran the smuggler machines? He had 30 tokens so if he more than 60 times then this is working like a casino in real life really.

They never said they wouldn't add it ever. He is just remembering things wrong.

Gambling is usually regulated by law. The law dictates a minimum return rate for slot machines. Usually 75% or higher. That is actual law, which can be enforced in a real Court of Law, btw, not Cartoon Network lawyers on Forums.

http://www.slotsinvegas.com/payback/ <-- an idea on how it works in simple words.

Why not use your brain and use the rest of my quote instead of taking a piece to simplify your mind? You know, the part about being a subscriber and adding no value to the game?

I don't get why some people are concerned about there being gambling in game. The cartel packs themselves are a gamble

its essential for bioware to try and somehow make money off these slot machines

i reckon some time in the near future they will sell tokens on the cartel market or something

Heck, Bioware even gave players the ability to use COMMS as currency, for the raiders who don't use basics anymore, and the PVPers that don't need more warzone comms. At this point, your hammering on the Cartel Market comes across as petty.
Do you have any idea what you're talking about?

You do realize bioware WILL eventually connect the slot machines with the cartel market as a source of income.

To gamble for something and gambling as an activity are different things. You see, in the little thing some call Real World, gambling is a serious thing and is regulated by law. SO, good ole Bioware should publish the return payouts for those slots.
