Worst Romance companion romance?

She's terribly written. So bad that I think maybe the writers forgot to add a companion to the SI in production and in the last day or two before release they threw her and her romance in. The Sith Inquisitor was modeled after Emperor Palpatine. At no point would the Emperor have stood around waiting for a Jedi to turn. You either turn or I kill you. She never turns and my character is FORCED to be OK with that. I don't get ANY options to electrocute her or force her to kill someone she cares about or anything. Light sided companions do not belong with Sith Characters, they just don't. This was a major fail while making the inquisitor.
as a sith, i do love killing, and shocking arrogant idiots (andronikos refers to that as 'torture' at the end of tantooine, to which my SI gives an expressionless look behind kallig's mask), but by no means am i "evil", well, there's room to debate on that...

some people like being the bad guy, but for a pansy like me, who doesn't like interrogating pre-scripted NPCs at the beginning of the SI story, in a balmorran tent, and other places, i find being evil quite hard for my moral side to take. i think that there should only be 1 bad companion for jedi and 1 good for sith, people shouldn't be forced to play the game in any particular way they feel uncomfortable doing, or just simply don't want to.

then again, people like yourself like keeping things accurate, and that should be expected as the norm, that one companion should only be the key to taking the other option. the whole purpose of the game is apparent freedom, and i like having that.
people on the internet are only mean because they can get away with it

Keep in mind you can't romance Jaesa if she is light sided.

I disliked all romances for my female protagonists on the Republic side, while(strangely) more or less enjoying all the romances on the Empire side.

- Iresso: boring. Boring. Boring. Bland and boring. He has no inner conflict, no major flaws, no motivation. Everything I see is "oh, okay". He has a library of knowledge locked in his mind - "oh, okay". He found the doctor who did it - "oh, okay". I didn't want to marry or romance him - "oh, okay". Seriously, while he seems like a well-adjusted, well-meaning guy, not unlike doctor Owen Hunt from Grey's Anatomy(on his good days, that is), he's just too boring for me.

- Doc - unbelievable. I don't believe him when he pretends to be a scoundrel(Skavak is a scoundrel; this one - just showing off), I don't believe him when he pretends to be a devoted lover; the change's too sudden. I guess I just don't see him as a character I believe in. Somehow, he looks like a seven-year-old girl's imaginary friend: "Hey, let's have adventure! And I'll flirt with everyone I meet, but that's okay, I only want to be with you!" I wish I was seven, sometimes.

- Aric. Well... my main gripe with him is he's not Garrus. He has everything to become a great, Garrus-like(or unlike, but still great) character: his demotions, the betrayal, his race, his dedication. Yet, he gets no personality, he gets no driving force, and his most interesting moments are his "-1" approval gains when my female Trooper talks to Jonas Balkar. That, and he's been searching my underwear. Ugh. Goodbye, Aric. Goodbye. Don't write.

- Corso. A boy next door, a dedicated boy, a boy full of chivalry, a kind, well-meaning and generally nice. (Except that he gives me huge approval gains when I steal ammo from the Republic and decide to send pirates to ambush Republic ships, but nobody's perfect). Okay. I don't think I can call him a bad character. But... but... but... have you seen his first scene? His very first scene, when you see him next to Skavak? Have you heard Skavak's dialogue on Nar Shaddaa, Alderaan, the black hole ship? Who in their right mind would create Skavak and Corso and make CORSO a love interest? And kill Skavak in Chapter 1? They're crazy, I tell you.

Empire boys are nice. I love Quinn - his flaws are believable, and he very much reminds me of Sheldon in some aspects. I'm intrigued by Vector - when you accept him as an alien, and as a very kind man, I think the romance blossoms. Andry is the opposite, but man, is he dedicated to you when he opens up a bit. And how vulnerable he is if you cheat on him on Alderaan! And Torian, the last of these four - well, I'll be first to admit his romance is rather vanilla and nothing special, but sometimes vanilla is nice, especially when you don't have someone Skavak-like to compare it to.

The very worst romance for me - well, I guess it must be Iresso. But Aric/Doc combo is a very close second.

Best: Vette - leaving her collar on.

After my first character being a sith warrior who took her colar off... I got more and more interested in getting through the game without romance but with the booty. Did I mention, I play a scoundrel now?

of course you leave the collar on, she's your slave and she needs to get shocked sometimes for being a naughty girl...

They all seem pretty bad. Very shallow and simple.. hard to believe the romances are supposed to be a selling point.

Bioware used to be a lot better with them before they started marketing romances as a selling point.

They did it very good in KOTOR with Bastilla and Carth. It builds up slowly. Then again the entire writing, narration and such was a lot better done in KOTOR. In TOR its all a bit juvenile in comparison.

Really? I found swtor 'romance' to be a bis shallow for real romance and a bit... 'conservative' for snu-snu.

They didn't even add moaning audio into the black-screen after indications for retirement for a game of adult twister.

"OH GOD YEES! YOU SCOUNDREL!" *shock vette* "MY LORD!"

Well, I haven't romanced any of the male companions since I am a straight male, but Vector is the one that grosses me out the most. He has a bug in his brain and he is creepy as ****.

As far as the ones I have actually done, the females. I would say Ashara was the worst.
Unsubscribed due to no new Operations.
I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.
