Worst Romance companion romance?

I'm currently romancing Treek on my sith Mara I'm leveling. He's a cathar so it works.. Kinda..

In all seriousness, my favorite romances are Kira and Vette. They are just so full of personality and interesting. Nadia felt pretty creepy, she is very cute but seems like she's 13.

Risha's was a blast. My characters constant flirtations finally broke her shell .

Mako was ok, I found her side mission to be interesting.

Quinn's romance made me level another jugg and lower his affection at all costs. Ill etc. out of conversation to ensure the most affection loss. The result is a guy that holds Baras in utter contempt and it was fun.

Contrary to popular opinion, I don't find Ashara whiny at all. I personally find her sexy. My assassin was Twilek and sorta light side so they seemed very compatiable.

Dorne was kinda meh.

I haven't done the others yet, but if I had made a female sorc I would rather flay Andronicus alive than romance him.

Ugh where to begin, I guess I would say Tharan Cedrax is the worst.

However, he is closely followed by Corso Riggs, Aric Jorgan, Vector Hyllus and Doc.

Spoiler

I don't even count Tharan as a romance. That's said, it is probably clearer than most that Tharan is really not available, so at least it did not actively lead the PC into a pretty humiliating situation (I think there was about 3 turns of the conversation in the vein of 'we need to talk to Holiday - Erm, let's not!' to drive the point home that it's her, not the PC.). The only thing I minded that after refusing his advances, his next dialogue started with "Sorry, love" implying that the toon made smiles with him. I do not know if the line is the same for the toon that actually did decide to cheat or not, but it actually might be.

Probably better if what people are saying is true, and some classes are rail-roaded into the romance by making a single choice that not even labeled as a Flirt. There should be an option in at least 2 or 3 romantic first conversations to say "I just don't think of you that way, please desist." I know, each of 3 options on the wheel is precious, but it's, like, important!

There are many companions that don't make sense. There are also many romances that don't make sense, but theres only one companion who combines the two: Ashara.

She's terribly written. So bad that I think maybe the writers forgot to add a companion to the SI in production and in the last day or two before release they threw her and her romance in. The Sith Inquisitor was modeled after Emperor Palpatine. At no point would the Emperor have stood around waiting for a Jedi to turn. You either turn or I kill you. She never turns and my character is FORCED to be OK with that. I don't get ANY options to electrocute her or force her to kill someone she cares about or anything. Light sided companions do not belong with Sith Characters, they just don't. This was a major fail while making the inquisitor.

heh :P

more like- because he's relatively normal (relatively because there are some dark things in his story as well) but other then that he's not drama filled in any way or flashy. steady. dependable. and I've noticed that for a lot of players - its an unforgivable offence. /shrug

I'll just keep liking him. I'm used to being in a minority in my character opinions.

P.S. from experience - you have to pick at least one flirt option in order to start a romance. it doesn't start without flirts. however, on a flipside, one offhanded flirt is enough to flip all the romantic flags on, which is why people encounter romances that seem forced on them. that's becasue you don't have multiple buttons, you have an on button that's any single flirt, and then you have an off button somewhere. the sad part about off buttons is that a lot of times it doesn't work and even if you very obviously broke up? you still get relationship letters and gifts >_> but that's coding issue, not character issue IMO.

He basically spends two entire movies doing just that.

Actually, wouldn't mind him (and other) male RO to be BT3. Right now he looks plain puny side by side with my hubby's Knight and Scourage. And I d not hate sweet Felix at all, I like him It's just Zenith is better

You have an option to play either Sith class as a LS. As an Inquisitor, as a former slave your backstory doesn't allow you an option to refuse the invite to Korriban. You sink or swim, and can be LS. After all in the Dark Temple you run across a Sith that gives you an alternative; Revan flip-flopped at least twice, and characters like Darth Traya have absolutely no connection between the Force and the Morality.

EDIT: but hey, you liked it the least, that's perfectly valid!

But what about in the prequels, Palpatine comes across like a savvy older mentor in the last two movies, nudging Anakin along with clever points of view, gently nudging Anakin along to the dark side. I guess he had more patience back then lol.

That said, I really would like to have zapped the living hell out of Ashara and make her do all kinds of awful crap and force her to turn.
