8,785 Total Threads, 116,692 Total Posts

2. The pvp section:
49,624 Total Threads, 921,845 Total Posts

You can say its because pvp'ers are whiners.... however if you look at the majority of the threads there, they are very informative and well thought out threads... many very useful and helpful to the others in the community. So your response is lame at best.

Next piece of evidence I use was a POLL I created that anyone could take part in on the general forums here:
http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=695256
It is obvious that the majority of people are pvp'ers here as well.

Other than rude comments you have presented no evidence.
Of those posts/threads, how many cover at least broadly the same subject? How many have the same person/people posting in them, said people making multiple posts if there's a discussion going on that interests them?

How many re-posts? How much straight out trolling, flaming, incoherent shouting, and other all-too-typical internet a-holery, and of which fraction is/are done by the same people, and/or known sock-puppet troll-acounts?

Sorry, your numbers can be twisted to mean anything, and your poll --Oh my goodness gracious me! A POLL! **** just got REAL, people!-- realistically only voted on by a vanishingly small proportion of the population, likely nowhere near enough to be considered representative by any rigourous definition.

We need no evidence, just basic common-sense to see that you're trolling and/or trying to start a flame-war.

Guys/gals, seriously: Real PvPers --a very, very small proportion of the people in this game who only think they're PvP'ers: Real PvP'ers don't need to flaunt/shout it, they know they got it-- aren't like this guy.

They really aren't, I swear to God.

5/10.

Next!

E:

Approximately 3290 people voted in the poll. Of those 69+ per cent picked class story. 3290 out of how many players altogether, just on the forums alone, let alone the whole game?

This was said during a pvp content drought. Hence the reason for this thread.... because they are paying some attention to pvp now, making temporary changes, I do not want to see a pvp content drought again leaving us penniless and without new content.

3.Pvp queue's are getting better, but still need a lot of love. Until we get it it is necessary they are told we demand it. If not it is clear from past statements when we are not vocal they assume we have no needs.
1 = opinion, not fact. Opinions are not facts.. so stop pretending they are.

2 = hearsay, not an accurate portrayal of their comments, but I acknowledge that distortion of gold comments serves your narrative.

3 = again.. not a fact.. but an opinion slathered with demands. Demands are not facts, so please stop pretending they are.

The smart PvPer, who prefers to PvP only in MMOs would do well to move to a game that is actually designed to be PvP centric. You know.. actually get your needs met by a game designed for your PvP needs.

For starters, we obviously aren't looking at the same forums...

Second, forums aren't by any means an accurate measure of the overall player base. Most MMOs, and I don't doubt this one is included, only have less than 10% of its players actively participating on the forums, and that fraction tends to be heavily biased toward certain personality types.

Lastly, PvPers tend to be more vocal than PvEers. The loudest voices aren't always the largest portion of the crowd.

oh I know, personally :P many of the diehard pvpers I've met in game are some of the most laid back people I've met. can't help but admire them, even as they very efficiently destroy you in war zones over and over, becasue they are just so good natured about it :P (and people who only think they are pvpers just give up when they see them and go for gosh darn pity medals. dudes. fight! yes, I know they will win anyways, but at least make them work for it a little? plus its more fun to fight then just give up - for everyone involved.

aaaanyways.

diehard pvpers are also aware that its NOT a pvp game. they enjoy this aspect of it, but they hold no illusions about it either.

Majority of the threads are:
"Nerf this"; "Buff this"; "Give us more X"; "Give us less X (the same thing being asked for more of by others)"; "HACKZ!!!" (nearly all the time ends up that OP doesn't know jack about other classes); "U WOT I'LL SMASH U M8" / "My e-peen is bigger than yours"; with some helpful/ insightful threads there.

Gear: Do what everyone else does and use orange moddables. FWIW, the PvE gear looks like crap too so most people use orange moddable gear for their PvE gear. Also means you only have to augment one set of gear rather than augmenting your Obroan/ Brutalizer gear (if anyone actually does that for anything other than implants/ earpiece/ relics... wat.).
Making good money: Bioware may be able to do something to improve that, yes. How about making some suggestions or linking to an existing suggestion thread. I would but I don't care, sorry.
Queue pops: Depends on the server. Plenty of pops on Harbs for regs. Ranked daily and weeklies probably helped Ranked, but I feel that the community could (not *should*) do more than Bioware to encourage people to participate.
New warzones: How often is "occasional"? Doing the same thing every day gets boring... Not saying that more warzones wouldn't be nice, but c'mon. People who only do FPs get sick of those too. People who do lots of Ops get sick of them too. Don't even get me started on how boring it is doing Dailies every day. Players rip through content so quickly, and it takes time to make new WZs/ FPs/ Ops/ planets.

Lots of players do PvP. Just because I complete my PvP Daily and Weekly missions doesn't make me a PvPer, does it?
PvPers aren't the majority. It's been reiterated by people here so. Many. Times.

Yesss, people telling you that you're wrong are just "trolling". It can't POSSIBLY be that you actually ARE WRONG. The only "proof" you brought was a fundamentally flawed metric, and several people, myself included, have explained to you WHY it's flawed. If you don't like it, tough. Not liking something doesn't make it less true.

Interesting, according to your poll, 69% of the voters went with Class Story as compared to 38% for PvP content. I guess Majority means something else where you're from? Since 41% went for New Class or Planets, and 39% went for minigames, your evidence really doesn't support your claim. In fact, based on the empirical evidence provided by your poll, PvP content came in at a staggering 5th place, behind 4 other PvEcentric venues. Learn to math?

lol....I have been discussing pve content in regards to Operation, flashpoints and such and have made that clear... your post is invalid.
