"Changes", as in, to alter the coloring for the armor set.

Like I stated previously, some people apparently assume that by doing that, everyone would be able to tell the difference; I very much doubt that.

I've been here since Early Access, not to mention the late Beta access in late June(?) and early October(?) and I never memorized the core differences between the Force-Mystic, Stalker and Survivor Battlemaster shells. If I didn't, I doubt Little Joe who joined the game two days ago will.

Oh, hey Ash... I see you are still trolling here. Wildstar beta getting a little boring for you? Not enough P2W?

Just go away. Seriously, I don't know how many times this has been pointed out to you but the CM is NOT P2W. But I digress, you are just trolling because this game is not something else.

<-- Long term player here. Not insulted. I couldn't give a flying fk about where you got your armor from or how exclusive it is. If it looks good together, then I'm impressed. What it's called, how common it is, or where it came from is irrelevant.

However, such is not the case with gear, like I mentioned previously already.

If people care enough, they'll inspect your gear; By inspecting your gear, they can verify if you're using Legacy gear, crafted shells or the original Battlemaster ones.

If they don't, well... They don't.

Also, you're assuming that people are actually aware of the difference, color wise, between the Survivor, Force-Mystic and Stalker variants; I've been here since Early Access and I can't tell them apart quite honestly.

If I can't what makes you think that Little Joe, who started playing AFTER these shells were removed, will seeing they didn't have the chance to familiarize with them to begin with?
Your not making an invalid point, but I counter with this....

This might be something that the masses would generally not notice. But I might interject that those that find exclusivity important probably would notice and perhaps be satisfied. And the point that the masses probably wouldn't...I take as meaning they would be fine with the small differences, means they would be ok with it as well.

It's one way to make the "entitled" folks happy, and still keep the rest of the masses content. Just my slant.

I agree with you on all of that. What I was saying was saying was to make little minor tweaks to allow the dyes to look better than they do on the Battlemaster gear. A large number of armor sets have 3 color ranges when dyes only effect 2, so if X armor with 3 color ranges is being added to the CM maybe have the dyes effect all 3 ranges instead of just two. I'm not talking about altering the mesh in anyway but rather improve upon something that people complain about.

Anyways I noticed that the armor sets in those datamined images aren't actually the exact same full sets. The Sorc gear has a different lower robe piece and the Jedi Knight is missing the samurai helmet. I'm guessing the Sith Warrior set is different in some way too.

Getting to valor 60 isn't an achievement. You can get to valor 60 on accident just by playing the game.

I am glad they put this in and I have 3 battlemaster+ toons, one of which has the battlemaster set. Its finally a good, bound to legacy, Jedi/Sith friendly set with a hood down.

Seriously, you could give everyone free Twi'lek slave girls until the cows come home and someone would complain that they earned their Twi'lek slave girl by playing through Korriban on their Warrior...
Ryaffil (Shadow Tank, Main) - Ryaffia (Guardian) - Odinsun (Sentinel) - Mintass (Commando) - Ryaffam (Gunslinger)
Tralyan (Sorcerer) - Echeara (Juggernaut) - Cran (Mercenary) - Zobess (Operative)
Death Mark - The Shadowlands

I got to rank 60 without even trying. I just pvp'd casually between flashpoints and heroics to level my agent. Once I hit 55, one or two weeks after, once I got enough ranked wz comms to buy two Obroan relics (this was before the new tier) I stopped pvp'ing. I think it's rank 65 atm. I never spent a single cred or coin to buy valor boosts.
Valor rank 60 is easy even for a pve'er like me.
