I wonder what's your opinion on the worst romance ever? Like I have to up for the list, Vector, I haven't actually done the romance, but I have him on my male sniper, and I can say that he is by FAR: one of the most boring companions out there, if not the most boring, he says We instead of I, which is incredibly annoying. Second that comes to mind is iresso, Not only is he extremely ugly, but his customizations suck too, His conversation music is boring, his ending twist in just messed up and UGH, he sucks.
Spoiler
Your opinion?
I'ts a trap!

Vector actually is one of the better ones. The worst ones for me were a bit of a tie between Jorgan & Iresso. They were very... bland/boring/rushed. Jorgan Especially since the romance doesn't even really happen til like chapter 3...

Favorites: Vector & Quinn, they seemed to be the ones that actually had time put into them, the others, not so much.

As for male char romances, well, no opinions since I don't play male chars... I do feel sorry for all the male Inquisitors saddled with whiney Ashara though...

You want a horrible bioware romance... play Vanilla Baldurs Gate 2 as a female char... Anomen.... -cringes- Verily!

Jorgan was my least fave. Probably the attitude and the cathar species.

Inquisitors, period. You get either a whiny little fallen Jedi in Ashara, or a numbskulled dunderhead in Andronikos. I got my sorceress to 55 without even bothering with romance, Andronikos is so irritating. And I don't DARE try again with a male - Ashara will make me want to throw my computer through the bay window. It goes without saying that I'll never be able to make an assassin, as I refuse to subject myself to either of those two idiots ever again. They are the primary reason I was less upset about the lack of same-gender romances than I could have been.

And for the record, my sage isn't much better off. I'm really struggling with the romance options - Iresso, Theran - ugh. They aren't the grand piles of Utter Reeking Odoriferous Fail that Andronikos is, but they're nothing to crow about. I keep getting this feeling that someone in the company had/has a grudge against 'spellcasters', and set out to make their romances as utterly unappealing and pointless as possible. So if you don't care a whit about romance, Go Inquisitor! Consular in second place!

And I agree with the Baldur's Gate observation. Yuk.

That happens fairly regularly in real life; Why not in a game?

Nadia was pretty quick, haven't done romance as a female companion yet. The best was Kira's though.

Jorgen and Irreso are actualy 2 of my personal favorites and Andronicus grew on me. most bioware romances work if you try them with a character that fits with the LI. my first inquisitor was completely unsuitable for Andy in every way, but my second one is down right perfect for him and its actualy kinda sweet in Bonnie and Clyde sort of way. Vector can be very poignant.

the only romance that I actively disliked was Jedi knight and Doc (but I have a feeling that was also in part due to playing a completely incompatible with him jedi knight, although... not a big fan of his character in general, his good points just don't outweigh his bad ones for me)

haven't tried Ashara, but saw some vids and I think she might work out for a light sided inquisitor that is with sith becasue jedi didn't get to them in time, or something. neither of my inquisitors was of that variety, so.. Ashara and me - we don't really get along in general >_>

Quinn is... in some ways, like Corso, requires treading carefully and a bit of headcanoning/finagling of the events in addition to playing character that fits with either of them. there are ways you can make it go that are just terrible, but there are also ways you can IMO make it work nicely. with a bit of effort. if you so wish.

Good point. Although I would argue that the Consular is worse than the Inq as a female toon. Iresso is quite possibly the worst companion romance in the game.
