Rancor on the cartel market? seriously?

I disagree. I don't think there should be "exclusives" of anything. Sure, make unique skins for things depending on the content from which it can be obtained, but personally speaking, anything and everything should be purchasable via a cash shop so players can pick and choose how they want to look and pick and choose their most favorite content to play, instead of being forced into playing something they may not necessarily like or enjoy.

Anyways, it's another mount. What did you expect. Ofc it would end up on CM eventually in a sligtly different skin.
Correct. Also, as someone else stated, and I will paraphrase:

I rather pay than spend dozens of hours in the game to get it.

Not everyone has 12 hours per day to keep playing like a loony, so he/she can get a cosmetic item.

As long as it is cosmetic only (not a "pay to win"), it's welcome.

Like it or not, most of the ppl who play this game are casual players, not "hardcore Asian wannabes" who starve in front of their computers and like to brag about their e-***** on genchat.

And just saying: the way people treat each other in Ranked warzones (on my case, in POT5), like a bunch of 12 year old brats, talking BS and calling people trash, pieces of sh*t, *****ts, scrubs, retard*d, etc, makes me somehow happy when something like this happens to all the self proclaimed "hardcore L33t pvp'ers".

Nothing like a good karma bite on the *****.

LMAO folks STILL trippin over the CM rancor? Smdh....aye...Mr personally I REALLY like the black rancor but I don't PvP so I've accepted the fact that I'll never get that one. I don't have hours upon hours to play and have never done an endgame operation so I won't get that one anytime soon either. So I guess I'll have to settle with the plain brown one from the CM. And I won't have IT if I have to buy packs to get it....Hopefully they'll (BW) put it as a direct buy item.

I`ll buy it with CC if they put it in the shop , but ... if this rancor or walker is in the pacs ... forget about it I`ll get it from GTN. I never buying CM packs. The drop rate is so .... rare. Better wait for the mount in GTN . In a few days it will drop from 10m to 5-4-3m. If BW want to get some money from me , better put it in the CM as a single purchase. I dont want to gamble.

You have an exclusive skin - what more did you expect in a F2P game? The model itself will be reused 20 times I'm sure, just look at how many freaking taun tauns there are and how many veractyls there are...you were a fool if you thought your rancor model would be exclusive to anything.

As of right now it appears that it will be a possible item in the Star Cluster Nightlife Pack, so you better start saving up your credits - I'm sure they're going to be sold for a very, very high price on the GTN.

And there's going to be a Rancor mount dropping from the Nightlife Casino event for hitting the Jackpot on slots.

The way I understand it, after all the wailing, gnashing of teeth, and tears from the "elite" PvP crowd, BioWare offered to give each PvP player who earned the rancor an extra special gift instead. It would be a winged pink unicorn that trailed a rainbow from its butt as it flew (on a stick, like shyracks). It would transform its wearer into a gossamer-winged fairy wielding a snowflake-tipped wand.

IMO this is the most accurate reward that can possibly be given to any for whom the unique look of a black, armored rancor with bright neon highlights is not enough. I don't understand why more PvP players didn't take BioWare up on the offer.

Disclaimer: I made all that up. Duh.
Dammit, I was hoping that they really had done that. Maybe they should have just passed out boxes of Kleenex with the PvP mount, you know, to keep the servers from getting flooded with all those "hardcore" tears.
