Rancor on the cartel market? seriously?

Actually, with the GSF quests now giving out Fleet Comms (on the PTS at least - and I can't see that change not making it to live) I really think they should add a unique Corellian Stardrive-style mount to the Fleet Comm vendor to give a little something to the GSF and/or PVE Space Mission demographic.

Or maybe they should let us change these GSF comms to PvP or PvE comms. When I going to the PvP terminal , I always looking very carefully to avoid the GSF daily/weekly missions. I would do them , if I can exchange them for comms of other kind. GSF looks like a different game right now. You decide what kind of game to play - on the ground or in the space.

Well, that's something at least, thanks for the info! Would be cool if we could get exclusive flight armour shells, not really big on mounts/speeders in this game.

Oh tell me about it, I have almost 200k of ship req on my blackbolt. And the only thing I can do with it is use cartel coins to convert them, which is bullshyt.

Well the "wings of the architect" was just released with 2.7 so I wouldn't hold that as proof of any kind of exclusive mount for a while (I mean, the PvP rancor has been exclusive for longer). I'm willing to bet there will be more rocket-pack style mounts on the CM sooner or later.
But the other three are unique, that is correct.

Yep. As 535353 ppl said before , the PvP Rancor is unique. You had 1500 Ranked PvP Rating - you got it. Dont expect Rancors to be removed from SWTOR and this mount to be one of a kind. Rancors has a big part of Star Wars world/history/lore/canon. All the players should have them. Its not so unique model , after all .... its just a rancor. Rancors was created ~40 years ago. So .. they are not something invented just for PvP reward.

The way I understand it, after all the wailing, gnashing of teeth, and tears from the "elite" PvP crowd, BioWare offered to give each PvP player who earned the rancor an extra special gift instead. It would be a winged pink unicorn that trailed a rainbow from its butt as it flew (on a stick, like shyracks). It would transform its wearer into a gossamer-winged fairy wielding a snowflake-tipped wand.

IMO this is the most accurate reward that can possibly be given to any for whom the unique look of a black, armored rancor with bright neon highlights is not enough. I don't understand why more PvP players didn't take BioWare up on the offer.

As others have already said, when your precious Rancor was announced, BW said that there would be CM and Ops Rancors as well, but that they would look nothing like the PVP one, and they didn't lie. I wont post the pictures, others already have.
