Cartel Market Magenta crystal should not be happening

Nihilus mask, gave it away, all the crystals I got I sold for cheaper than anyone else on the gtn or gave them to my guild mates, Thankfully, you are not my guild mate.

Hard to tell really

These two crystals look pretty different. One is magenta with a white core.....and the new one is magenta with a pink core. The one with a pink core looks gaudy and hideous, in my opinion....although I know there are some people out there that love their pink lightsabers. These are pretty different looking colors if you look at them on a saber. Don't see any problem with this. Besides, the magenta crystal market went way down after they introduced CM crystals. Everyone wants a crystal they can use at an early level (and also duplicate and send to alts through legacy weapons)....all the level 50 crystals pretty much became afterthoughts.

It was a joke attempt. Oh well... it`s just I don`t understand philanthropy in a game that needs money to buy nice things. To guildies, I could understand, but to strangers is just... CRAZY! Not with seriously rare items that can net you a very good pay.

The answer to this should be obvious.

Yes, to somebody that doesn`t give a crap they look awfully similar. They aren`t identical, however. It has been done before, long before this game turned into a copy printing machine.

I didn`t defend it then and I don`t defend it now, but I cannot put an epeen quest above a PAID crystal, sorry. Just thank Bioware for letting your crystal be somewhat unique for 2 whole years.

And the white core version will still continue to be that way. That item will still be rare.

No genius the CM cannibalized the entire color crystal market in general.

With there being so many more color variants now, people care far less about the Magenta crystal in general. Every new color crystal added to the CM makes something like the Magenta crystal that much less desirable. The players now have a greater/wider variety of options.

See but that^ is the type of thing that somone like you never realizes. You think you're so smart and right about the one little narrow thing that applies to specific niche that you don't see the bigger picture or the fact that what you're really complaining about already happened long ago.

You're acting like Magenta is a highly desirable color when in reality most people wanted it simply because it was rare, not because of it's shade.

Far, far more people are interested in having/getting a true Red color crystal on the CM than Magenta.

See I don't care about this stuff like you do, or really anything in the game to that extent for that matter. The thing I enjoy the most about the game is the story and characters.

Having some rare item isn't important to me in terms of making money or showing off. I just want to see what is visually pleasing to me while enjoying the story, that's all.

I have a set of the old Sith Sorcerer Battlemaster gear on my main right now that took me a good while to earn and it's being released on the CM sometime in the future. Same goes for some of the other old PVP/PVE gear and if you're being this annoying about a color crystal I can't imagine the whiney *** cry babies that are going to complain about Bioware doing that. Oh did you not know about that? Maybe you should start up a pre-emptive complaint thread about that.

Yes, it is cool looking somewhat more unique than the majority of people playing or having people be somewhat envious over the old gear but I would much rather everyone be able to look the way they want to look over me looking unique. I'd rather them have the satisfaction of them and their companions looking cool in the cutscenes as they play through the stories or whatever.
