I have crafted over a hundred of these for two years free of charge for anyone that asks and have sold probably 5. The "quest" is time consuming and tedious and anyone willing to get the mats gets a free craft from me. If you bought the materials, depending on server, it would cost you roughly 400k which is I believe is probably around the value of the time spent if you gathered your own mats, and they sell for between 400-500k on the GTN which means crafers really make beans off of these if they didn't harvest their own mats.

Besides.. it was not that great a crystal at the time really. But yeah.. it did have epeen factor to it.

My crystals are complimented all the time. Because it is not your taste does not mean they are not attractive to others.

Further, the age of the quest has nothing to do with it considering the stats have not changed on end game crystals since launch. What you're saying could be applied to any crystal. Because a quest or item is old does not change its value if the stats are still top for end game. If new hilts were not added for the next 5 years, would the current top hilt not be valuable in 3 years time? Obviously it would be valuable.

I mean, derelict purple looks fine, despite being listed as having purple as a secondary color (rather than white or no color). But from the preview I've seen, the new pink-magenta crystal is one of the non-lightsaber-y looking ones.
Same. Pink-Magenta is inferior to Magenta imo.

The crystal will still be there and, frankly, there were bigger fish back in the day, like the scandal with the black green Rackgoul even crystal and Razer crystal. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=418179 . And that one was about marketed products for REAL cash, not some lulz quest only for epeen value.

That being said, nobody will take your "achievements" away. But I will always find them ridiculous and that you will never be able to change. Keep flailing your sabers, you`ll just brighten my day! Something about men wearing pink and being excited about it is always irresistible, I guess.

I have an artificer and I never make color crystals to sell because selling a crystal for millions is a bit overboard to me. I don't like ripping off my fellow players even if it is for fake money.

Can I buy a Nihilus mask from you and some white and blue core crystals? I promise I`ll give you a fair price = 21k for the whites and blues and about 50k for the mask. You`ll still rip me off a bit, but I`ll manage :P

You see, what you are doing IS a grave mistake.

Three posts in a row and nothing about how the new crystal isn't actually the same color as the old one. Weird. I mean to acknowledge that would mean to basically admit that you're being stupid and over reacting to this whole thing huh?
