All the OP is asking for is content like we used to have like Lost Island HM, instead of 5 incredibly easy tactical flashpoints so people in level 40 greens can do them too.

I am not looking to beat my head against a wall but I want something to feel a sense of accomplishment when defeating a "boss". I think that this is the games biggest problem. Bioware can get away with having new content (flashpoints/operations) once every year if it was consistently challenging. The difficulty of content can increase its shelf life.

So, does anyone else feel bored with the PvE content? What do you do to keep the game fresh and prevent it from becoming boring?
Well, since you said HM Operations are the most challenging thing you have seen, why not try Nightmare Mode? I mean, unless you suffer the same problem as me and can't bear to repeatedly repeat repetitive repeats of the same repetitive boss preparing for a tougher repeat of the same repetitive boss, you would actually have a ton of fun with the challenge from them.

Aside from that, I agree with the poster above that said we need more FPs like Lost Island. Even after all the nerfs, it is literally the most feared FP.

You want a challenge? Challenge yourself.
I have to agree. If your complaining about a lack of challenge in the game, why not create the challenge for yourself. All content in an MMO loses its sense of challenge when it becomes familiar. Sure running an OP for the first time can be a challenge because you dont know the mechanics of the bosses, or the trick to beating one. But, if you do something enough times it becomes routine. Routine will never equal challenge.

Good players will always find content easy, while casual players will always find content difficult.

It's impossible to make a game that caters to both people who optimize their characters, have the best gear and to the people who just log in and (try to) do quests and use quest rewards as gear.

For you it was fun however majority of player refused to do LI HM because it was too challenging. Unless you ran with guilds pugging for it was rather difficult. Same with EC. In my opinion the best ops in the game. But even at 55 in 180 getting a pug group to run it is rather difficult because many casual players don't want to spend their time beating the it heads in on an ops

Judging by that logic, BW should stop creating new content and players should merely make their own.
Actually he's right. I have the most fun in games that offer me the most options for playing the way I want to, and for striving for my own personal achievements and challenges.

On another note, sandbox games operate on the very notion that players "make" their own content in the game.

If you want a challenge you could try PvP, there is always someone, somehwere out there that can beat you up.

there are many ways to make it challenging. fight naked from the waist down. use a lightsaber with no mods. solo that flashpoint. does someone have to do it for you If you go through life not challenging yourself, waiting for someone to do it for you..you will live a sad life.

I agree on trophy part only because he's right.

- Don't pick AC until you hit level 55
- Only green quality gear (green, not orange shells with green mods)
- Don't upgrade your gear after level 15
- Play as tank and only upgrade your mods every 10-15 levels.
- Solo Heroic 4s at the correct level
- Solo endgame flashpoints with green/blue quality gear

Just a few things you can do. You don't have to do all of them with same character.

Now, I have to start new legacy on another server dedicated to challenge myself.

This. No matter how good you are at PvP there's always someone who makes you like a noob in PvP.

Actually playing "naked" is not so crazy and stupid idea.
Many hardcore RPG gamers making a challenge for themselfes. Like walkthrough with level 1. Or time challenge.
More options can be added. It's just depends on player.

P.S. Haven't tryed DP and DF HM yet and already crying for challenge? Dude...
