800 Cartel Coins too much.

I guess it just depends on how you look at it, and what you feel is good value for your money, so I'm glad that you feel it's worth it. That's the main thing.

In my thinking it just...hurts. It's too much for me, so like I said before, unless they change it, to discount it for subs, I likely won't let anyone but my favorite toon ride it.

I'd forgotten that. I was about to say that 800 cc seemed expensive, but I did unlock that tauntaun. But I got him in the sale, so I didn't pay that much, and pretty much every character has him, so I've found it worth it. I guess in the end, it all boils down to wether you think it's value for money. I wanted to unlock the aratech lux for my latest Jedi, but found 600 cc way too much. Maybe when I have a few more characters I could see using it, it'll seem better value, but not yet.

I did buy the ashfall tauntaun and unlocked it on all my toons. That's worth it to me, since the "per toon" price is very low (I have ALOT of alts)

Me too, but I thought 600 was alot, never mind 800 or 1000. I suppose, if I want it badly enough I can save my grants up, but I'll be damned if I'm shelling out actual cash to support this price hike they're pushing on us. Gotta draw the line somewhere, and my line is 600. They'll start charging even more, if they feel they can bleed us for this.

Cartel coin prices can be on the high side. On the other hand, you also have to think of the effects on the market as a whole. If it becomes too cheap, then more people will just buy one and be done with it. This means then that less varactyls are sold and they become totally cheap. So that makes it hard to sell and makes the value of the cartel packs even less. They still want to sell cartel packs and so they want to strike a balance.

Don't get me wrong, I find 800 cartel coins a bit high myself, but there's no denying that even in this thread people are considering that it may be worth buying a couple of the gtn instead of unlocking it. That can stabilise the prices on the gtn. Of course, I have 18 toons, so for me the balance is still in favour of cartel coins, but I don't care about varactyls. Not gonna say which one I do like cause I don't wanna give BW any ideas

So... does anyone here know how expensive the Highland Dewback is to unlock? I have it lying around in my inventory for over a week now and I'm still not sure if I should ride it or sell it. :<

Give us a sale on unlocking collections!
Cartel items go on sale, why not collections unlock?
Provide us with advance notice, and don't make it one of those random one hour windows where if you missed it, you missed it.

Last time I went out looking for a new vehicle, I didn't even consider BMW, Mercedes, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Range Rover, etc. I stuck with Chevrolet and Ford.

Why?

If it's too expensive, don't buy it.

Last time I checked BMW, Mercedes, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Range Rover, etc. didn't charge you one third of the price for your car, if you wanted your wife to drive it :P

If I'm driving one of said vehicles, she better find her own CC cause she isn't driving mine!
