800 Cartel Coins too much.

After scrimping and saving my coins, I finally got a cavern varactyl. I was pretty happy about it. Until I went to see about how much the unlock is.

I had always thought 600 was pricey, but now I see they've bumped it up to 800, which in my thinking is exorbitant. Does anyone else find this a bit much? I for one would buy more unlocks if they were a touch cheaper Especially for people who pay a sub. I think our unlocks should be discounted a bit better. For free to play the prices are fine, because they're not paying anything, but when you're putting out for a sub every month, and they charge that much for unlocks, it isn't right.

Thoughts?

I am inclined to agree with you, OP. 600 coins always seemed a little high to me, but 800 coins is rather expensive. Yes, it is a bargain compared to buying two or more of the same mount, but the direct sale CM mounts are already rather expensive considering that the purchase price is only for one character. If they cost somewhat less to purchase, I'd think an expensive unlock was more reasonable. Then again, I may be odd in that I don't usually like using the same mount on loads of characters.

On another note, thank you for mentioning the unlock price here. I wish they let you see it before you add an item to your collections, as sometimes that can be a deciding factor for me.

If you intend on using it on more than one char, 800 CC is a bargain. The more alts you intend to use it on, the better of a bargain it becomes.

On the other hand, if it's stupidly cheap on the GTN, it may be better to buy it for credits for each alt.
