Sorry, a little hung up on this point. Raising level caps doesn't make a game better. It just postpones the inevitable. Seriously, what's wrong with just adding more content to the levels we already have?

They may as well be. Say a guy that fast levels from 15 to 55 gets into your ops, on grounds of "Why the hell not?". It is a wild gun, undisciplined player that can do any of the stupid things noobs - yes, noobs, not newbies - do. Because, at the end of the day, regardless of your gear, if you put only 500 DPS out during a boss, you won`t go very far. Have enough bad players and no amount of gear or skill can make up for them. And if my 3 days`s ago experience with ******e ninjas and ******es in general is to be trusted, GF will become a very shady and "to be avoided" business, unless you queue premade groups.

I might be wrong, but it is never a good idea to bring a player that has only seen story and roflstomped everything by being 5 levels higher into ops, where discipline is required.

Tactical FP - H4 with new name and some story slapped on, Tactical OP - I can't get how it going to work.
You can cap in 2-3 days with a new Oricon geared toon - that is 5 pieces with full 156. Add some weeklies offtanking for a better geared tank and you CAN cap your ultimates and elites. The 6 months is a very gross exaggeration. I managed for 2 new 55 toons to cap BOTH in a week. Using legacy gear you can move things around, so you will have a mix of 180 and 168 IN A WEEK. Pvp for 2 - 3 hours and you get your relics too. Again, one week. MAX 2 weeks, not 6 months.

Might stick my nose back aftter 2.9 release but until then Il be exploring nexus... I loved the game but it just dosent have to offer anything new in near future. Not only op wise same goes for pvp, crafting and story.
I apologize for the language barrier, but I am having a time with piecing together what you are trying to convey. I did follow the last few lines. I've encouraged people in the past to vote with their wallet, but the benefit to SWTOR is, you can still remain a part of the community and the game while BW hears what you have to say. I will not tell you that they are always listening, nor tell you they will answer your requests for new content. I can only tell you to do what you have to do for your own sanity and play a game that delivers everything you expect from it.

I forgot about Oricon... my 3 tanks got geared for OPs before CZ and Oricon ... hate those FPs and GF. At least their mirrors now have bulk of 162/168/180 to wear.
But yet...
Oricon set for tanks - 2 or 3 of 5 items with acc/ala, thanks.
Makeb implants for tanks - 2x acc, thanks.
Comm gear for tanks 3 of 7 items with ala/acc, implants with acc ... no other role got half his gear out of the window just because BW decided to force 3 time longer grind so they can carry all those DDs around.
Even some token items 162/168 have ala/acc on them...
Nor that I am going to level/gear new tank (have all of them), but if I was, I would be glad for shi/abs/def bolster when half my gear reward is crap.
Wonder how healers and DDs would react if half of their gear had shi or abs on it.

My solution is simple, I've cancelled my sub which ends May 31 and I'm taking a break from this game. I came back to the game because of the constant ROTH ads I was seeing and have enjoyed myself quite a bit but I'm burnt and nothing has been announced to keep me engaged so far. I think my biggest problem is that I've played an average of 8 hours a day since Feb of last year and I've done pretty much everything there is to do many, many times over. I did the math last night and I've sunk over $3000 in this game since I've been back so at least I can say I've supported it. Destiny is my next time sink so until Sept 9 gets here I'm gonna casually play a few games on my Xbox One and even catch up with my old clan from CoD. I'm all about the action so player housing and sitting in a casino means nothing to me so no Summer of SWTOR for me. Get epic again SWTOR.

156 is entry to most weeklies and more than enough to cap. With the Arkanian 162 that you can get for set bonus, using ONLY the armorings and the comms on 2 avatars, let`s say, you can buy at last one 180 offhand, or any repeat gear (like 3 boots) if it has the stats you need and use the mods. SO you STILL don`t lose time, as you are using the comms to min/max on the spot. As for implants, 3 implants won`t make or break you, IF your other gear is kinda sorta sorted, which would be, especially with the pvp relics which you get in 2 hours top.

Also, running a fresh toon will give you VERY nice mats for first time runs, so you can get your 180 barrel / hilt for free, as there are plenty of crafters that ask no fees.

Been there done that...
Issue was to start once, and most of puggers simply boot out tank in 156s (what I was at least crafting myself).
Had to change 3 guilds until find proper one (no elitists behavior but still some OPs and support).
Now have more gear that I know what to do with... over whole legacy.
It is still not correct for tanks to have half of their gear crapped, do you support the idea half DPS gear to have absorption on it?
And PvP ... if you are not in it you will need at least 2 weeks or some relaxants to eat all that crap that new player at 55 receive in PvP.

Eight hours a day? Zoiks! If I'm doing something for eight hours a day I'm either getting paid for it or it's a lifelong pursuit. We'll leave the lights on ...

You're right - it was BW's fault. It was BW's fault for making the rookie mistake of not sticking to their plan and knee jerk reacting to a petulant mob by adding over 70 new servers overnight ... and following that up by recommending players roll new characters on lower population servers if they didn't want to wait for the login queue issue to get resolved. A slew of people got fired for that. Bioware should have just let the crybabies cry themselves to sleep and continue ramping up the infrastructure instead of flooding it.

Uh...had they NOT had a knee jerk reaction, it would have been even worse! I would wait in queue for up to 2 freaking HOURS to log on. I'd get home, load up SWTOR, make dinner, clean up dinner and I'd STILL be in a freaking queue. I spent more time playing OTHER games than I'd spend in SWTOR, while waiting to play.

Bioware should have figured out that 200-300 people per server was far too freaking few from the start. They are 100% liable for their complete and incomprehensible negligence at launch...NOT their freaking customers who were rightfully upset that they couldn't play for hours, or would finally get in, join a WZ queue, CTD and have to wait another 2 flipping hours. How dare you accuse the customer of "crying"...the entire server staff at Bioware should have been canned for how this launched.
