Yep me too, but think devs should make use of this perk by now it would increase life of the game.

Honestly, I'm not pushing either way on the issue. I'm fine with AC's being locked, and I'm also fine with them being available to change. I just want to know what the official word on the matter is, so that I may plan accordingly.

This is really a red herring. This same scenario can already happen under the spec changes already in game.

We get it, you dont want this feature to ever happen, and that is fine, but if you are going to try to act like a tough guy and a "mr. knowitall" then actually take the time and research what you are saying and be ready to defend your own opinion/statements when someone questions you on them instead of saying this garbage about how you are not going to take the time to look through this thread to find previous statements of why or why not on whatever your currently talking about.
The poster who was asking for the negatives has the same option to go back and read the thread to find those reasons which have been stated multiple times. We have posted them time and time again. The fact that that particular poster wants to dismiss anything that does not mesh with his desire to see class changes implemented does not negate those reasons, nor does his aversion to the effort of going back and rereading the thread.

If those against class changes had never posted any reasons why class changes would be bad for the game, time and time again, then maybe that poster could have a valid point in asking for those reasons. Since those reasons have been posted many times, though, the onus is on that particular poster to go back and read the thread again to see the negatives that have already been posted countless times and not on those against class changes to keep posting them again and again.

The same scenario can happen at this time due to spec changes, true. This is NOT reason to allow class changes and drastically increase the likelihood of these types of situations occurring.

If there are a few drivers who choose to do 55 in a 35 zone, should the lawmakers change the speed limit to 55 in that area since there are already drivers doing 55 in that area?

Perhaps you missed the quotes from the devs in which they state that the AC's are fundamentally DIFFERENT class designs, and that they treated each AC as a FULL CLASS, etc.

You may want to see them as sub classes, since that would mesh with your desire to be able to change your class, but the devs do NOT see them that way. The devs see them as DIFFERENT classes. This is one of the reasons why you are now told at least 4 separate times by at least 2 different NPC's and have to confirm that you understand that your choice is PERMANENT. They even changed the selection screen to make it less likely to misclick.

So you have spoke with the devs recently? You know their plans on this particular feature? Because you sure seem like you THINK you know what you are talking about. If you know the devs plans please share it with us, if you dont then quit acting like you do.

Please give us a source that backs up your post. Because the latest thing I can find about this subject is: http://dulfy.net/2012/11/16/swtor-f2...mion-schubert/
